WASHINGTON — Democrats enjoy a 10-point advantage over Republicans in congressional preference for the 2018 midterm elections, even as President Donald Trump's job approval rating has ticked up, the latest national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds.

Fifty percent of registered voters say they prefer a Democratic-controlled Congress, while 40 percent want a GOP-controlled one.

Following over a year of constant discord & turmoil centered around DJT, this is the happy (and expected) result.

Makes sense, this Congress has been a big waste of everyone's time. Remember when they spent the better part of a year trying to throw 20 million people off their insurance?

throw 20 million people off their insurance?

It is not "their" health insurance to begin with since some one else is paying for it, in the form of a tax. And the ACA is sure as hell that.

All this ever was, is another way the left buys it's votes by giving away free ****. No matter if it is affordable or not.

So no, they are not loosing what they could never afford. Controlling health care costs was never a part of the ACA either. Shows exactly how poorly it was crafted, and who would benefit.

Sounds like the answer to my question is yes, you do remember when this useless Congress wasted the better part of a year trying to throw tens of millions off their insurance!

Yes and I can't wait for them to finish the job and kill the ACA. Along with purging the 15 million or so illegals from our borders.

The ACA is a tax as ruled by SCOTUS. This is not the proper way to go about funding health care. It is not a Constitutional right in any way shape or form. It is all about buying the votes from those who do not have it.

Why do you wish to destroy our country?

My guess is that a lot of independents are as disgusted as I am with this Trump debacle and are eager to punish the Republican party. The Democrats had better earn it.

reminds me of media stories about poll results prior to the 2016 presidential election

which accounts then caused voters of the sure winner to remain at home while the other fools stood in line to vote for the preordained outcome

how did that work out

Tell me...how far ahead did the polls have Hillary weeks before the election?
And even if this is somehow an accurate poll, it's only March.

You don't have a constitutional right to not pay taxes, so deal with it.

Can't throw anyone off something they weren't on.

You could get rid of 4 million of them just by doing research and having accurate information ;)

It's not just polls, they've been MASSIVELY out performing all of the special elections. Not to mention the situations are completely different. But sure, the favorite lost one time, so therefore polls and statistics don't matter!
