When the Russia question came up during a hearing at the British Parliament last month, Alexander Nix did not hesitate.
“We’ve never worked in Russia,” said Mr. Nix, head of a data consulting firm that advised the Trump campaign on targeting voters.
“As far as I’m aware, we’ve never worked for a Russian company,” Mr. Nix added. “We’ve never worked with a Russian organization in Russia or any other country, and we don’t have any relationship with Russia or Russian individuals.”
But Mr. Nix’s business did have some dealings with Russian interests, according to company documents and interviews.

What's interesting is that Brad Parscale, who is intimately tied to Cambridge Analytica, is now running the Trump 2020 campaign.

Shocked that a campaign in the 21st century used social media.

Maybe that is breaking news for CNN or MSNBC but most of us knew that social media is a valuable tool. Of course it is only data without analysis to turn it into information.

What's your next thread, Trump burped today?

These guys have lied repeatedly.
They claim that they didn't use Facebook data - It's found out that they did use Facebook data
They claim that, yeah they did have some Facebook data, but they deleted it - It's found out that they still had the Facebook data
They claim that they didn't work with Russians - It's found out that they did work with Russians

According to Facebook, these guys have committed fraud. They are definitely liars and lacking in business ethics.

You know, even if things are harmless, it seems so much around Trump is Russian. Everywhere. What the hell is it, with this pattern?

It seems to me that the Trump campaign has more contact with Russians than Russians do.

Russian women are hot, for one. Say what you want about Trump, but he has good taste.

I disagree, I pretty natural beauty, trump likes plastic Barbie's.

I wouldn't sleep with stormy Daniels if she paid me.

Well I supposed for a hundred and thirty grand I could be convinced,
I have taste and ethics but I would be willing to temporarily set those aside for a proper cause😀

I don't know how that could be. They offered a survey. The person had a choice whether to take the survey or not.

From your link:

Asked about the Russian oil company, a spokesman for SCL said that in 2014 the firm’s commercial division “discussed helping Lukoil Turkey better engage with its loyalty-card customers at gas stations.” The spokesman said SCL was not ultimately hired.

“We needed somebody to guide us with the customer data that we were collecting,” he wrote in response to a question from The Times. “Even though our campaign went ahead, we decided not to cooperate with SCL. No contracts were signed.”

Absolutely nefarious.

Cambridge Analytica is also in the news because of a massive data breach.

"Cambridge paid to acquire the personal information through an outside researcher who, Facebook says, claimed to be collecting it for academic purposes.

During a week of inquiries from The Times, Facebook downplayed the scope of the leak and questioned whether any of the data still remained out of its control. But on Friday, the company posted a statement expressing alarm and promising to take action.

“This was a scam — and a fraud,” Paul Grewal, a vice president and deputy general counsel at the social network, said in a statement to The Times earlier on Friday. He added that the company was suspending Cambridge Analytica, Mr. Wylie and the researcher, Aleksandr Kogan, a Russian-American academic, from Facebook. “We will take whatever steps are required to see that the data in question is deleted once and for all — and take action against all offending parties,” Mr. Grewal said."

tsk tsk... trying to dumb it all down I see...

Massachusetts AG to investigate Facebook, Cambridge Analytica

Facebook suspends data firm with Trump ties

Facebook has announced it is suspending Cambridge Analytica, a data firm with ties to President Donald Trump's campaign, over concerns about violations of the social media site's policies.

On Friday, Facebook's vice president and deputy general counsel, Paul Grewal, said in a detailed statement that a University of Cambridge psychology professor, Aleksandr Kogan, had passed Facebook user data he gained through an app on to third-parties, including Cambridge Analytica -- a breach of the social media site's policies on protecting people's information.

Oh, it's quite simple, really.

Trump's been mobbed up and laundering hot money for Russian mafiosi for decades.

He's trying to keep that fact covered up, and is getting desperate.

"Nothing to see here, folks. Move along, move along." strikes again.

Russian women are hot, for one. Say what you want about Trump, but he has good taste.
- OT -

FYI, I wanted to comment on your post awhile back (in some other sub-forum), about contacting extraterrestrial life. But I lost the post ... sry! :3oops:

Anyway, your post was a good one & I agreed - thanks for the reply there.

That's exactly what I believe. Consequently, he's got both American legal exposure & exposure to Russian kompromat.

The Podesta brothers have a lot of Russian connections but I don't see anyone interested in that. Even though Tony Podesta stepped down as head of their company over accusations equal to what Manafort was charged with.

Don't you find that rather odd? If the Podesta brothers were under the same scrutiny as anyone associated with Trump in all things Russian wouldn't you think it would be just as important? After all we are talking about the influence of Russians in our elections right?

Tony Podesta is under the same scrutiny & is also being investigated.

His possible activities were brought to light after being exposed by Mueller, and Mueller is investigating him. We know about Tony Podesta as a direct result of Mueller's work.

I am with you there. I much prefer a California blond to Russian women who look like they are about to kick your ass.

There will be a ten cyberyard penalty for "illegal use of facts".
