Mueller has McCabe memos documenting conversations with Trump

What fun it must be to constantly have to imagine things.

Flynn lied to the FBI and is facing jail time.
How come FBI agents can lie, and its controversial to lose his pension?

Do you seriously think a corrupt liar deserves a pension? I don't. I think he deserves what he's going to get: Jail time for felony corruption.

I don't know if he'll get jail time but whatever he lied about must have been significant if both the IG and OPR recommended termination. Then again, the FBI set a standard with Flynn so Maybe McCabe did tell the IG he put cream in his coffee when, really it was cream and sugar and now he's going to suffer.

All those things I mentioned...and more...have one thing in common: The corrupt Obama administration.

Funny to see you trump lovers still afraid of "Obama"...You should be, he'll be out campaigning this year.....

He has bigger problems than getting fired for leaking and lying. Those bigger problems are going to land him in jail.

You know what I find interesting? Some people in the DOJ and FBI have been fired...some have just been "demoted". I'm thinking...why is that? And, btw, those demoted people...nobody is hearing anything from them.

Here is my answer:

The whole bunch of them were offered deals. Some took the deal...some didn't. The ones who took the deal still have jobs...are still available for testimony. The ones who didn't take the deal don't have jobs...they will be the ones who go to jail.

Nobody's "afraid of Obama". In fact, I really don't think he'll be doing much campaigning. Democrats won't want him around.

McCabe fired two days befor of his retirenment. Of course, this is personal revenge. But here the question arises: does the person who is the president of the leading world power have a right to personal revenge against a civil servant? The answer is obvious - in no event. I'm afraid that the man who holds the presidency of the United States is one of the most unsuitable man in the entire history of the United States.

Lack of candor. Fired for political reasons 2 days before retirement. No criminal charges have been released. How did that "locker her up" thing work out? The guy who yelled it, plead guilty to a felony! Keep it up!

Ah, so lacking candor equals Trump the Moron. Makes sense.

Lack of candor is usually not being forthcoming with information during an official process as part of assigned duties. Considering the various leaks and obfuscations from the FBI during the Mueller investigation and all the details around it, this isn't very surprising.

Mr. McCabe's pension is now secure. He has been hired at the federal level and all he has to do is to put in about five days "on the payroll" to have enough accumulated "pensionable service".

I have no doubt that Mr. Trump is furious at not being able to beggar Mr. McCabe.

As for Mr. McCabe's "memos to file" we will simply have to await developments to see what they contain - won't we?

Oh, that's right, that's not "The **A*M*E*R*I*C*A*N** Way", is it?

I heard the Dems offered to hire McCabe so he can get his pension. lol

a couple of months ago Trump questioned the credibility of the FBI and the left went bat **** crazy. Yet today they say they don't believe what the FBI did(advising that McCabe be fired) was credible.

hypocrites and morons, the lot of them.

Trump demanded an investigation into the Clinton foundation from the very same agency that he's accused of corruption. Hypocrites and morons, indeed.

An interesting read from a former FBI agent now CNN analyst::

1.As usual, @brithume has zero idea what he's talking about. To understand why many agents, and indeed even the FBI Agents Association *which is non partisan) have issues with this, you have to understand an OPR in the FBI. The bar for "misconduct" is very low.

2. The purpose of OPR -- the Office of Professional Responsibility -- is to investigate misconduct in the FBI. Given the FBI's mission, that means that every FBI agent must be BEYOND REPROACH. This is a tough standard, and one that all agents are held to.

3. This is, of course, a good thing. OPR will investigate, e.g., a "misfiring" of a weapon. It will look into any discrepancies, whether in your use of the FBI's database, or your use of your government credit card or your Bureau car or phone.

4. But every agent knows people who got caught in OPR's net, and it can be pretty brutal -- and it's why OPR is the bane of every agent's existence. ANY infraction, no matter how small, can be "OPR'd" (yes, it's a verb). And once you're in OPR's net, it's hard to get out.

5. To give an example, my training agent, and partner, advised me when I started to never, ever use my FBI credentials for *anything* other than official business. Why? He once went to an amusement park with his kids which offered a LEO discount, and showed his creds..

6. ...not sure how it got back to the FBI (maybe the person behind him in line reported him?), but he got accused of "abusing his authority." 🙄 He was let off with a warning because he was new at the time, but that's the kind of oversight I'm talking about.

7. It's also kind of kafka-esque, at least based on the people I saw go through it. Some didn't even know until they weren't eligible for a promotion, for example. As far as I could tell it was a very opaque process, and pretty much stacked against the agent.

8. I'm sure the process is designed to protect the integrity of the Bureau, and to not allow anyone to have preferential treatment. But to me it seemed like Reverend Hale from The Crucible -- well-intentioned, but sometimes able to be carried away by its own zeal.

9. To bring this back to McCabe, it's important to remember that he was not being held to the criminal standard for perjury, i.e., where "intent" would be a major factor. I think that would explain why his attempt to proactively correct things he said would not have mattered.

10. To put another way: If anyone in the current administration or associated with it were held to the standard FBI agents are in OPR, there would literally be no one left in the Executive Branch. "Not remembering" in front of Congress? Correcting your SF-86 10 times? Yeah, FIRED.

Lack of candor is most frequently characterized with not acting in good faith. Do you honestly feel it will be hard to prove McCabe acted in good faith with regards to the entire Fusion GPS/Trump investigation/FISA Surveillance fiasco?

There's solid evidence that he acted in good faith....

"...FBI documents released in January 2018 showed that McCabe had in 2015, before his wife ran for political office in Virginia, notified the FBI about his wife's plans and consulted with the FBI about how he would avoid a conflict of interest.[27] The documents showed that McCabe followed FBI protocol regarding potential conflicts of interest.[28] McCabe did not oversee the Clinton email server probe while his wife was running for office and he was excluded from FBI investigations into public corruption cases in Virginia.[27] According to USA Today, "the internal documents, published on the FBI's website, support what the bureau has asserted previously: that McCabe had no conflicts when he assumed oversight of the Clinton investigation. His role began in February 2016, following his appointment as deputy director and three months after his wife, Jill McCabe, lost her bid for a state Senate seat."[27]..."

Wr have an investigation into allegations of Trump and Putin colluding.

There have been investigation into the investigation of Trump and Putin colluding.

Now we need to investigate the investigation into the investigation of Trump and Putin colluding.

Maybe we should stop treating all these things as criminal in nature. Remove all the threats of loss of freedom or pensions and find out what happenned.

I agree...but you have to admit it is kind of amusing. An investigation into the investigation into the investigation is like Russian nesting dolls.

Move the goalpost all you want, but it's lying: lying by omission at the very least.

Plea ignorance all you want but it's not helping your argument much.

All those things I mentioned...and more...have one thing in common: The corrupt Obama administration.

You haven't mentioned one thing of substance so... OBAMA!

The giant gaps that you leave for the imagination to fill in make your posts not only lacking in credibility... but funny.

Never once have I said Trump shouldn’t be fairly investigated. I have always said they should ALL be investigated and let them all hang. No...I’m not one of the despicable ****s that are celebrating the use of the nations intel as political tools and at the same time I don’t defend anything. I want it ALL investigated.

J Edgar Hoover would ****in LOVE leftists though. Man...if only leftists were as accepting of corruption (as long as it supports a mindless partisan bent) back in his day.

A couple things here... We are living through what I'm willing to bet the most corrupt president of our country's history and you..

  1. are talking about leftists giving a pass to corruption and
  2. pretending you aren't a deflection shill for trump

Everything I mentioned has more validity...more freaking evidence...than those nonsense "indictments" you are hanging your hopes and dreams of "getting Trump" on.

Wake up. Stop dreaming.

You act as though that is his only conflict of interest. Its a long way from just that. Nice attempt to provide a deflection from the real issues.
