Maybe another cabinet member, but every nation on earth was affected by Tillerson and they are owed some explanation at least, so that anything pending doesn't get more screwed up.

He also owes an explanation to voters. He set one course, changed, changed again, and now again. Is he still on the same path he promised his voters?

Him not saying anything creates an even bigger problem

You don't trust anyone but seem to place a lot of trust in one man who has led 2400 times in his tenure so far.

I know he won't. He's a serial liar and a completely amoral human being. I would never expect something resembling honorable behavior from him. He's lied so many times now I no longer need or want an explanation from him. It's enough to assume that he's lying and go from there.

Hmmmm.........Trump administration says one thing......Tillerson's aide contradicts Trump administration......which entity is more believable?
Does this administration actually have any credibility left at all?
Even Trump supporters have to be dubious of anything said by the Trump administration.
While this particular dispute is a small issue, Trump has squandered so much credibility that if/when a big issue comes along, nobody will believe him.

Good to hear from you, as well. Tillerson shouldn't be surprised. One thing is certain. Nobody is padding a pension by serving in Trump's WH or cabinet. Maybe that's why Trump hired so many wealthy people to start with.

I don't trust Trump to do anything but be Trump. I knew who he was before he ran, and so did everybody else. I expect that Trump wants another head of State with NK talks coming up, a changing Russian strategy in Syria and beyond, with China and the South China Sea, trade issues, and much more, but that's just my guess.

Trump may have something to say about Tillerson, but more than likely not. I really did expect a higher level of turnover in his administration because he's not a DC insider to start with and a novice in national politics. I didn't expect quite this level of turnover, but again, it's Trump. I'm just hopeful that perhaps he has a firmer grip on what he requires from his cabinet and staff, and we won't see a whole lot more turnover. I will be surprised if Sessions goes the full four years, but I bet Sessions would be surprised to go the full term himself.

What would that Russia policy be, further appease Putin low key so nobody notices? The only "firm grip" Trum is ever gonna have probably involves the dentures and the hairspray in the combover.

I actually have quite a bit of material in my shop right now. The chief problem is that most of it is scraps and crap.

For retired me, it's either bury my head in the sand or come out and see what's happening.
I am helping at school again, a loss that sent me into a bad funk when I retired.
(I now watch a lot of i24news based out of Jaffa, Israel; with satellites in France and the USA, etc.--very good)

I've lived my 64 years, and can't wait for my Wife to finally retire next year, at 68.
Lots of trips planned, like driving the entire Appalachian Mountain Chain from Maine to Alabama during color season.
Amtrak to California and the Cascade Range ...

You can look at it that way. I don't, but you can. I'm not interested in hair spray or dentures or false narratives about appeasement. Bush let the Russians into Georgia, and Obama and the EU let them into the Crimea and Ukraine, Obama let ISIS run wild in Iraq and Syria, and you're saying Trump caused all of that. In my view Trump is regrettable, but he's hardly to blame for that crap.

If you knew Trump then you knew his administration would be mired in investigations, lies and corruption. That is what New Yorkers know about him. He's a corrupt liar and won't tolerate anything less in his people either. I suppose that is why he picked the GOP too.

I have way more than enough to keep me busy for several life times. I'm trying to get down to a single place instead of three and my shop. Cuts down on the driving time, which was getting ridiculous.

My ex and I did a rather quick trip to California and back a couple of years ago - flew out and drove back. We're planning another more leisurely one soon through the northwest. I'd also love to take the Canadian Pacific across the Canadian Rockies to the Pacific coast. I've seen more of Africa and some other places than I have of the US. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. We have a great country here.

Sessions, depends- If Mueller charges those inside Trumps family, Trump will be raging.
If not, after Mueller concludes the investigation, and that IMHO is sometime in 2019.
But as time goes by fewer people will want positions in this WH.
Those people will look at what damage to their reputations they will incur if they accept a position. The rest, well 2nd tier or lower

I get the feeling Senator Cotton, who had his name floated for CIA on numerous occasions wanted nothing to do with a 1 term President. Just my opinion.
