Longtime Trump aide fired over financial crime investigation

I'm not disputing any facts, and don't hold any "narrative."
You were dismissive of the facts, by derisively attacking the credibility of the source, which is one of the most credible news orgs on the planet by the way.

And you will be proven wrong, regardless if the White House or their news PR at Fox deny it until the the cows come home.

Financial crimes? He fits right in, no wonder they picked him! The more compromised the better.

Must have been Kelly making him leave. That establishment, deep-state fool keeps going against Heir-Trump's good judgement...Trump needs to torpedo Kelly next I think.

How is Trump going to surround himself with people he can control, and who will look the other way, if they aren't compromised in some way!

He can't. There isn't an honest human being on earth who would set foot in the White House. It must be assumed at this point that anybody remaining in the White House is currently engaging in illegal activities and/or the kind of highly unethical behavior that results in careers being destroyed.

If that were the case trump would not have made past the front door.

I'm speaking of their quickly rooting out the "very few not criminal". ;)

That was your premise, right?

Well they have to spread the firings out...No doubt by Summer most all we'll have been fired and replaced by a new bunch of flunkys and losers

Couldn't have been too bad, the "crime" ... (grin)

"President Trump has fired his White House personal assistant, John McEntee, who had been with the president since early in his campaign, an administration official confirmed Tuesday. The president's campaign then announced McEntee will rejoin the campaign as a senior advisor of operations. ..."

Nobody with a conscience would last eight seconds in that place.

Which could explain why Brad Parscale announced today that McEntee is now heading national grassroots outreach for the 2020 campaign. No conscience needed there, Cardinal.

Well we’re all glued to our screens as to how another game of Trump episode is about to unfold.

Cancel this ****ing reality TV show already and put it out of everyone's misery.

The installments of The Bachelor are more inspirational than this reality show, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians has classier characters in it.

Trump has a campaign? What's that about?
Time to stop campaigning and start governing, my guess.

He's been running for reelection since the day after the last one.

Which is perhaps why Trumps WH stopped making the WH visitor logs public in early 2017. Lobbyists and foreigners can come and go without a trace.

CNN Exclusive? Wake us when someone credible picks it up.

The story was broke by The Wall Street Journal, which you would have known if you thought to use your own brain and not think what Trump tells you to think. It was right in the CNN article.

Why don't you just wear a hair shirt or take a hammer to your head every morning when you wake up if you want to exist in a miserable and sad world? It's a lot quicker than following Trump down the sewer like the obedient dutiful child he wants you to be.

You know, this is starting to remind me of a local biker gang.

To get your patch (full membership), you had to commit a felony for them! Why? In part, to prove loyalty. But also in practical terms, so everyone had dirt on each other, thereby collectively forcing them to keep their mouths shut, forcing them to stick together!

Crazy.

It's a measure of Trump's ethics that Trump (or more likely Kelley) was bound by some rules to move McEntee out of the White House, but that his illegal behavior wasn't an invalidating factor for work on Trump's campaign. It sends a message loudly and clearly: "no matter how corrupt you are, I've got your back."

His pulling the White House visitor logs from public view, early in his tenure, was a harbinger of things to come. His carrying-on statesmanship privately at Mar A Largo from the get go, was another. I'm abhorred by both.

McEntee's major crime was being found out, in this WH

Announcement: in spite of this morning's developments, the PA-18 election has not been canceled and still very much a news event.
