The illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children – known as Dreamers – say that they have been failed by Democrats who are more interested in blaming President Trump and Republicans than delivering a congressional measure that would protect the young people from deportation as they await a path to legal residency.


Dreamers are done giving Dems a pass.
“They don’t walk their talk,” said Cata Santiago, a 20-year-old Dreamer who was brought to the U.S. from Mexico when she was just 8 years old. “We’re tired of it. We’re tired of believing them when they say ‘It’s the Republicans.’ They make promises when they’re in an election, and when it’s over they’re done and don’t do anything.”

So some "dreamers" are getting a clue. It's about time. Democrats are playing them like a fiddle. Well Trump handed Democrats a deal for 1.8 Million Dreamers, and they balked.

I'm pretty sure he hasn't stopped talking about it. The MSM however is refusing to cover him talking about it because it makes the Democrats look really really bad.

I care about the Constitution first. Whether I care about these particular people is irrelevant to the problem; it's a legal issue.

It makes them look bad to you. The concessions Trump asked for were not acceptable to Democrats, and if Dreamers were polled I doubt they would be celebrating about it either.

THAT, I do not believe for one minute. You might care about returning this country to the 1950s, but one thing you don't care about is the Constitution.

Even if they are disappointed at the Democrats for stalling on any deal, they don't really have any other option but to keep pushing them for one and the democrats would be smart to really do something about it.

Its not about decency. Its about not rewarding people who ignore our laws.
If we cut of incentive for them coming here illegally, why would they come

I'm too old to put up with people who are clearly wrong. I've fought too hard and too long to put up with s*** from people like him. From other interactions with that poster, I've been able to come to certain conclusions. Everyone has an opinion, but everyone can't be correct.

Maybe I should go and try to be nice to Neo nazis too? You know, so we're not divided? Sorry, but some people are simply wrong.

You making him the equivalent to a Neo-Nazi? Who's a Neo-Nazi? I've never met one in my life(And I live in the south I might add lol). I'm sure they exist, but nowhere near the number you seem to be suggesting... hell, I've only met a single racist family in my whole life..... out of the thousands and thousands of people I have met.... only 1

Ummmm....wut? Turn off Fox News, the only time Democrats had an opportunity to get immigration reform through Congress without any help from Republicans was in 2009, and they, unfortunately, had about a billion other problems they had to deal with thanks to Bush at that time.

This is just garbage propaganda from Fox News designed to try and convince people like you that you don't have to worry that much about the blowback of deporting these people. Deny reality all you want the next couple elections are going be a very difficult pill for you to swallow.

For example. I am gay. A lot of people have opinions about gay people that are wrong and therefore believe that we should not be entitled to equal treatment under the law. They may have opinions, but their opinion is incorrect and based on nothing but their own prejudices.

But yet, celtic wants me to believe that people in the above example do not have the "worst" motivations.
