CNN)Police are investigating reports of shots fired at Campbell Hall dormitory at Central Michigan University, the school said at 9:30 a.m. ET Friday, on its website and its verified Twitter account. A suspect is still at large, and everyone is advised "to take shelter," the school said.

Michigan State Police say two people have been shot. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The city of Mt. Pleasant tweeted that the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.

What i read was he was noted in an specific area, by the railroad tracks, where ever that is, it could be fact, could be fiction.

17 dead in Florida and leftists are still losing their mind. During the month of February, 31 dead in Chicago, leftists couldnt give a ****.

Which is why I posted comments saying that metal detectors and armed guards wont solve the problem. Of all the school shootings that have occurred since 1982, approx half have occurred on college campuses. They typically dont have a 'front door' to secure.

Gun control already exists in Chicago, but due to lack controls elsewhere, those in Chicago can still get them easily

Damn...that almost sounds like the problem with drug laws.

On the state level, Illinois prohibits trafficking guns from out of state and gun-running — the illegal transfer of at least three guns. But police and prosecutors in Chicago almost never charge anyone with those offenses:

• Since 2007, nine of 10 weapons arrests by police in Chicago have been for illegal gun possession, according to the city’s crime database.

• During that time, the police have made more than 27,000 arrests for illegal gun possession — “unlawful use of a weapon” under state law. But they have made just 142 arrests for illegal gun sales — none for trafficking or gun-running.

• Since 2013, Cook County prosecutors have filed illegal gun possession charges 9,724 times and gun-running just 12 times. They haven’t charged anyone with trafficking guns.

So yeah...Chicago is just killin it when it comes to enforcing those gun laws. So why do you suppose no one is getting charged with gun trafficking???

And why isnt the blood in the streets in ALL the major cities in this country an issue, but 1 incident in Florida inspires action?
