Your claim seems to have been Young Turks is the lefts equal of Infowars. You've yet to show how they are even remotely similar. I've not seen any Young Turks episode where they are pulling insanely ridiculous conspiracy theories out of their asses the likes of which alex jones does. Not even slightly close to similar.

The 1-5 campus rape statistic, the wage gap myth, systemic racism etc.

Try again.

Not to mention serious informative segments such as these, edited for succinctness....

Alex Jones is a kook.

Ummm, the rights version of Media Matters is Brietbart.

InfoWars is the rights answer to the WWF.

That is totally unfair. The WWF does good work helping animals. Never seen them do any kind of fakeness or hyperbole.

What... no proof again?

Even if what you are claiming here were 100% true... it doesn't even come close to holding a candle to this nutjob stuff.

Alex Jones' Mis-Infowars: 7 Bat-Sh*t Conspiracy Theories
From "false flag" attacks to man-made hurricanes, a look at the favorite talking points of the "most paranoid man in America"

  1. Satanists are taking over America
  2. Bill Gates is a eugenicist trying to wipe out minorities
  3. The government is controlling the weather
  4. Hillary Clinton is running a child sex ring out of a D.C.-area pizza restaurant
  5. The government is complicit in countless terrorist and lone-gunman attacks
  6. Millions of undocumented immigrants illegally voted in the election
  7. Former Fox News host Glenn Beck is a CIA operative

But I understand that as a righty, you need to fabricate an equivalence so as to keep the victim card with a great of purchasing power as possible.

Peddling fake **** is guess what... still peddling fake ****.

Your deflection is not appreciated.

This word "deflection" I don't think it means what you think it means. This thread is about Alex Jones' website. You are the one who deflected to the Young Turks. Your deflection attempt blew up in your face due to being a false equivalence and you only have yourself to blame.

Keep screeching false equivalence and taking some sort of imagined high ground.. we will still sit here and continue to laugh at posters like you.

It's best you laugh. I suppose it can take the sting out of losing arguments as badly as you tend to do.

*ahem*

False equivalence.

Keep screeching, me and the rest of the people working in this office will keep laughing.

Awe... you are sharing my posts with your co-workers? How sweet. Did they see how you think that the Young Turks getting something wrong is the same as Alex Jones pushing child sex ring in a pizza basement? I'm sure your coworkers are laughing alright. I just don't think you understand that they aren't laughing with you.

No, its pretty unanimous that they are laughing with me.
Though, most of us here have no love for Alex Jones. Its rather obvious that this is only temporary, seeing as he could just go somewhere else. Or upload more videos onto youtube at the end of the day.

Its not like we haven't seen this flagging function from the site be abused in the past.

Besides, there are more hosting sites springing up in the wake of their war against a wave of independent posters. While they are still content on letting actual hate run rampant. Its pretty much par for the course in this day and age.

Ban hammer looming on Alex Jones.

InfoWars' main YouTube channel is two strikes away from being banned

InfoWars, a far-right media organization run by Alex Jones and known for peddling unfounded conspiracy theories, is on thin ice with YouTube after it posted a video that portrayed the survivors of the Parkland school shooting as actors.

"Last summer we updated the application of our harassment policy to include hoax videos that target the victims of these tragedies," said a YouTube spokesperson. "Any video flagged to us that violates this policy is reviewed and then removed."

Infowars has a YouTube channel?

Damn, and it's about to be banned.

I'm off to YouTube, See you all later....
