Companies are scrambling to cut ties with the National Rifle Association, including a cybersecurity firm, six car rental brands, a home security company, and a bank.
A spokesperson for Symantec (SYMC), which makes the Norton anti-virus software and owns the identity theft protection company LifeLock, said Friday that it has "stopped its discount program" for NRA members.

Also on Friday, car rental company Hertz (HTZ) said in a tweet that it has "notified the NRA that we are ending the NRA's rental car discount program."

NRA members need to get new hats that read "JEW."

Yep because NRA members are getting hunted down, gassed and then their bodies are either being put in unmarked graves by the 10s of thousands or burned in massive fires.

Here’s a hint, criticism and boycotting is not a war crime nor are you a victim.

It's alright, I'm a member of the NRA, there are other businesses lined up to fill the gaps. The NRA is never going to die.

Thank you. I will add those companies to my boycott list for their cutting ties with the NRA.

They are going to learn the hard way. Businesses should never make political statements. Ask the NFL, Emmys and Oscars. The Oscar academy is almost begging people to tone down the political rhetoric this year. The NFL has taken a huge hit in viewers. The Emmys always sucked so who knows.

Oh look, more "we're the real victims" whining. How creative

Boycotts are only okay when you have the 'right' position.
We are currently reviewing our assets ...

Let's see... Let's just play up the idiotic stereotypes then since you ruined your own thread by Godwining it right out of the gates.

Are you saying the NRA are bad tippers?

Seriously though... I doubt the NRA are Jews. A circumcision would pretty much remove all they have.

Not to make lite of the situation, but isn't the NRA the home security companies biggest competition?

Its all a PR stunt

You might as well declare NRA the King of the Jews with the cross you have them crawling up on.

It took a lot of chutzpah to be kvetching about your victim complex you've displayed here. What you really have going here is just meshuganeh. I mean the NRA is a giant mishpacha that's just a real eizeh balegan. With such a stupid comment, you now you have schmutz all over your face.

This is a great topic worthy of a spirited discussion. I am not sure why you felt the need to ruin the topic with a single sentence. I have no idea what you are trying to say here, but it reads ugly.

Meanwhile, I have been advocating for some time that we needed to call out the NRA for their obfuscation. Because they are in a position to be a part of the solution, but instead use their position to stymie all intelligent discussion on the matter, they, in their dereliction, have become part of the problem.

With the blood of mass murder victims on the hands of the NRA, these companies are doing the noble thing in running from them. It's a pity that it had to come to the NRA and its members being shamed, but they would not listen to anything else.

I, for one, will make these socially conscious companies my preferred vendors.

In prewar Nazi Germany, business owners who posted "No Jews Allowed" or "We don't serve Jews" weren't hunting down, gassing, or otherwise making them the victims of war crimes either, were they? Even the Nazis didn't do that initially. My point is there's a blatant, full-frontal attempt by the Left to vilify the organization and its members as "extremists" or "out of the mainstream" because they're viewed as political obstacles. Increasingly, these voices are being heard by sympathetic ears in executive suites. It's a twist on traditional business thought to have companies punish their customers for their political associations or memberships, but then it's a natural outgrowth of leftist thinking: "Don't bother reasoning with someone you don't agree with. Any reasoning that results in a bad result isn't reasoning, anyway. Just call them a bigot, tell them they're making you uncomfortable, ask them why they're so angry, or shun them after you tell them to **** off."

The NRA will survive. This latest round of gun control publicity will drive up membership yet again. Fund raising gets a lot easier for this years elections.

Anytime you have to invoke Nazis you’ve already lost. Take your victim mentality and go find a safe space.

Not giving a discount isn't a punishment. Nor is it equivalent to the treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany. Jesus.

Well, how about if NRA members put "Terrorist" on their hats instead? Would that be acceptable?

Why? Am I making you uncomfortable?

Nope just stating facts that you have no valid complaint because you are trying to invoke Nazis as a comparison to your fake victimhood, which just makes you look that much more ignorant. But please keep on with your fallacies, it is quite amusing :lamo

What facts? I haven't seen any. I haven't even seen an argument. (Telling me to find a safe space or calling me ignorant or stating that I'm not a victim aren't rebuttals to my stated point, which is there's an obvious movement to vilify the NRA and its members for political reasons.) Why have I "lost" my argument by using the word "Jew" in conjunction with the word "hat"? Can you at least answer that?
