We don’t allow pilots ( even they have a CCW ) to carry guns on airplanes.

We don’t allow Judges ( even if they have a CCW ) to carry a gun into court.

We don’t allow congressmen ( even if they have a CCW ) to carry guns into the Capitol.
Air Marshals carry firearms onto flights. Judges do in fact carry firearms in courtrooms. And congressmen do keep firearms in their offices and have armed security where needed.

That is exactly my point - if any training requirement, test or fee is a constitutional condition for having 2A rights then it's only a matter of mandating how much more is required.

Air Marshals have many hours special training since bullets shot that dont hit the target could cause the plane to crash.

Please provide link that Judges carry into the courtroom.

Of course congressmen have armed security. Courts also have armed security. Im quite sure in order to protect congressmembers and courtrooms those security officers have had more than 8 hours of gun training ...which by the way is what we talking about .

We have had no gun zone buildings for many years and The Heller decision recognized that.

Allowing only highly trained people to carry in no gun zone buildings is not taking away on the 2A rights.

That has nothing to do with my post (concerning CCW permits or CHLs) but thank you for sharing.

States make their rules regarding schools.

The 144 hours of training was passed by Florida Congress and is only for those who will voluntary carry a gun into a Florida School .

Below are six public places where state laws are pre-empted by federal law and no guns are allowed:

    1. Federal court facilities:
    ...

    2. United States post offices: ...

    3. Federal prisons: Possession of firearms "by all persons not specifically authorized" is prohibited in federal prisons and this no guns allowed policy includes adjacent parking lots.

    4. Ranger stations and visitor centers in any national forest or wilderness area: ...

    5. National cemeteries:
    ...
    [B]
    6. Aircrafts:[B] According to the Transportation Security Administration, federal law prohibits the carry of firearms on aircrafts including but not limited to realistic replicas, compressed air guns, pellet guns, and flare guns. The no guns allowed ban extends to carry-on luggage. According to the TSA, "Travelers may only transport unloaded firearms in a locked, hard-sided container as checked baggage."

Except the 6 public places in the newsmax article I linked to- Federal law overrules/ pre-empts state laws.

Yep, federal law applies to federal places and those granted FAA permission to operate commercial flights.

I can cite a few dozen articles...but heres one to start...

We arent talking about paying teachers to be armed marshalls or armed guards. We are talking about allowing citizens to exercise their constitutional rights.
