If he did that, he would be breaking his oath of office to faithfully execute the laws, in my view impeachable.

On top of that the US Citizenship and Immigration Services has changed its mission statement to no longer include term “nation of immigrants.”

Trump received 4.5 million votes in California. There are still a lot of us out here, and we didn't vote to be abandoned to our own worthless politicians.

He just needs you to hold on a little longer, when enough of your fellow "Californian's" come to their senses Trump will come back and clean things up. Hey, I'm in NJ, our new Governor wants to model Jersey after Cali.

That would be moronic and likely grounds for impeachment. Trump says some really stupid stuff but that (threat that he is "thinking about"?) is way over the top.
 
See Trump understands that we are dealing with a state that does stuff like start a High Speed Rail project lying about the costs, doing it very poorly, all while knowing that there is zero chance that the state can even get it built much less operate without the feds saving them with massive cash infusions because their books are such a wreck are long term are hopeless.

Subtleties dont work here.

He should send more and find ways to cut federal funding to Cali to offset the cost of additional ICE and border patrol agents. Sanctuary states deserve to be punished.

The fact that SCOTUS is so useless that they allow sanctuary from American law zones should be of great concern to you, says me.

Now that would be interesting. With no immigration officials or agents in California to arrest and deport, each and every illegal would get that word quick and I would imagine pretty much each and everyone would head to California where there would be no worries about getting caught.

Perhaps the number of illegals going to California could double, triple even. I wonder if California could handle the influx. Possible I suppose. But regardless, it sure would be interesting.

It's called nullification. Not only cities, but now a state has nullified federal law. The precedence is being set for nullification of other federal laws.

Wrong move. He should and charge all California state lawmakers and government employees who have taken such measures with sedition. This is one of the areas where it actually is specifically the job of the federal government and specifically not a state authority, per the Constitution.
