Its good. I commend police for being able to capture a suspected killer rather than killing him or allowing him to commit suicide. The more we know about these predators the better

Shooting at high school in Parkland, Fla.; multiple fatalities reported

A gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school in Parkland, Fla., on Wednesday, officials there said. According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, at least 14 people were injured. The shooting suspect, who fled the scene, was been taken into custody in a neighborhood nearby. Follow below for the latest updates.​

You'd be 100% correct, however there are what 10 of them, 20? Yet there are thousands of blacks shootings in Chicago every year, but it's wrong to point that fact out.

Look at homicides by gun in America.

By a MASSIVE percentage, it's black males. And they only make up 7% of the population.

So......?

Yes. They're sick. I don't wish to live in a Minority Report society nor do I wish for thought police, but I do want to know more about this young man. Was he socially isolated or in the thrall of social media? Was there a triggering event? Does he have a history of disaffection? What?

I'm watching this on the news right now with the same sadness I always feel with these same story. Seeing once again the videos of terrified children coming out of their school is killing me. I'm a mother of three, and I hate the fact that when my kids go off to school, I have to pause and wonder if the next time I see them, they'll be in a damn body bag with holes ripped through their bodies.

Bless those poor victims and their families and their community. I just can't imagine the grief right now and won't pretend to.

The answer to your first question is "Yes." Of course, since you've already described the shooter as a piece of crap, perhaps you already know more than the rest of us. ;)

Actually it is America that is one of the most fearful societies in existence. Why else would you be walking around with guns? I forgot the bogeyman government are going to come and get you...grow some stones.

and in almost every case, after the shooter is captured or killed (or commits suicide) dozens of people pop up and say "we saw this coming"

we get the fact you hate our freedoms and see your government's hysterical reaction to one shooting as "civilized". You live in your nanny state and pretend your lack of freedom will keep you safe. I couldn't give a rat's ass what subjects think of our rights.
