Gowdy launches probe into Rob Porter’s White House employment

Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it.

I hit reply to your post. Does that not show anywhere?

The ironic thing is is that had trump been appointed a position at the Whitehouse, he would not have passed the background check to get a security clearance.

How much are you honestly worried about management of classified information and how it is handled? Are you genuinely concerned or just concerned if you can use it as a political talking point?

Both, whenever the right wing is concerned. The Electoral College, Told us we "got the real estate guy", as our next Chief Magistrate of the Union.

In order to avoid your hypocritical stand you revert to rhetoric rather than address your double standard. Got it. :coffeepap

Wait, Gowdy is a Republican and he is launching a probe. That is what this thread is about. Did you miss that?

Putting Gowdy in charge of a "probe" is probably the best way for the GOP to make it disappear.

Just imagine what kind of **** show we would have seen if Obama's administration hadn't been held to a lower standard.

Except that scenario remains purely in the hypothetical, since Obama's administration was held to the highest standard possible, whereas if Trump manages to avoid taking off his shoe and biting it on live camera he's praised for acting "Presidential."

Will the committee call in Magahn to testify? He only has a temporary clearance as well. That'll be interesting.

Oh good, Deputy Dawg is on the case. We can all rest easy now.

lol... I'm going to give him a clean slate on handling this. He's on his way out so I want to see if he will be effective at this or partisan. I'm thinking he may be impartial. There's nothing to gain otherwise and he's going back to being a prosecutor so he has his credibility on the line in that regard.

Highest standard, eh?

I don't remember you all losing your minds over this...

A senior policy adviser to former President Barack Obama pleaded guilty to one count of attempted voyeurism after resigning from his position in November 2016, recently released documents show.

Did you even know it happened? Be honest!

Do you have a legitimate source for that story?

On the off chance that the story is true, did the administration keep him on for over six months after it became known that he was a voyeur? Was the administration aware that there were security clearance discrepancies with him?

I don't think any non-professional photographer can take better pictures than can already be found online. Why waste time for an, inferior product.

Lately, i prefer the "honest wife" and "good first mate" videos on porn sites.

We don't know. Do we?

No one, at all, within the administration knew about this dude's quirks until he was arrested? I find that kind of hard to believe.

I know you'll use that as defense since you're going to hold Obama to a lower standard.

Even your own ridiculously biased source says he was gone and gone quickly. While had he been in the trump administration he could've just denied it and kept his job. Then perhaps punched those ladies in the face and been considered for a promotion while all around him would be saying what an honor it was to have worked beside him.

So if you don't know, what right do you have to suggest the Obama Administration didn't act according to a high standard? Do you care that the Trump administration knew since July that Porter was a wife beater, or did you give Trump a pass because you hold him to a lower standard?

Thanks for showing us your political double standard. I appreciate it. Now I know that you don't really give a **** unless it serves your purpose. Good deal.

Nobody put Gowdy "in charge" of the probe. He is the chairman. He is ,by default, "in charge". Why do people post stupid **** like this? It just shows that they don't know how the "gubmint" works. You didn't even need to read the OP article to know this. The quote in the OP was:
Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said Wednesday the panel has launched an investigation into the White House's handling of former staff secretary Rob Porter's employment following days of questions about when the administration first learned of his domestic abuse allegations.

He can't "make it disappear" without a majority vote from the committee.

What double-standard? I am on the left. I question every Thing about the right Wing.

Yep, thanks for the verification, both times. Can I use this idiotic post for a sig? I like stupid posts to put in my sig. **** it, I don't need permission. Thanks again.

I'm mostly curious how this guy could have seen so much classified info without the right security clearance.

You DO know Ben Rhodes was denied a security clearance by the FBI, dont you ?

Yep, he received a Presidential waver after the FBI denied his security clearance

I dont remember you people being outraged over this
Its just more glaring Left wing hypocrisy

Were you really concerned when it was Hillary's email server?
