Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said Tuesday night that members of his party won't revise their countermemo, despite requests from the White House to do so.

"We're not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we'd like to keep those to a minimum," Schiff told reporters.

"The White House has a different interest. I think their interest is in redacting anything that doesn't reflect well on the White House," Schiff added.​

Adam Schiff is such a low life and the truth is if the Democrats had a real rebutrealfor Nunes's memo they would have released it and or leaked it with or without Trumps approval

They cant rebut or debunk Nunes's memo and they know it

I think they, the Democrats ought to take out the classified portions. Sources or any information that might be harmful to this country. Then again, the FBI and any other intel agency could just redact or take out those things themselves. Then release it.

I think the bottom line is just to release the FISA warrant. To do otherwise will let both sides play their political games regardless of redaction.

Because it makes Trump, his campaign and the Nunes memo look stupid beyond belief and shows they were intellectually dishonest in the extreme.

Go back and read the question I was responding to and it makes perfect sense to anybody with an open mind and reading skills.

Actually, I second the question by Tres....why should they change it? They'll redact what the FBI asks them to and then release it (assuming WH approval). Why would they change it? How does keeping the same thing the committee voted on make Schiff a "slimy weasel"?

And I'd like something more substantive than "oh please", if you don't mind.

Your post was nonsense. If the Democrats could rebut and or debunk Nunes's memo they would have done it as soon as his memo was released.

They wouldn't wait for Trump to ok the release of a memo they know is going to be a huge dud

Part of the process includes review by the FBI. They did and apparently had reservations.
As for Schiff, the memo activity isn't what made him a slimy weasel. It's just an example of it.

Wray should hire McCabe back immediately along with the new and latest victims of this growing scandal, the DOJs David Kaufman, who was forced to resign last week for " personal reasons.".

We are up to 8 senior Obama FBI and DOJ officials now.

As if using Hillary Clinton funded oppo-research to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the political opposition wasn''t bad enough, the FBIs decision to corroborate that dossier with a Yahoo article is just impossible to corrupt to rebut

And Schiff knows it. Its why we haven't heard the Democrats rebuttal yet, and its why we never will.

This is the game that schiff wanted to play to being with.
attempt to release a memo with highly classified data in it.

The president is in a catch 22.

If he doesn't release it they will play that the white house isn't giving them a fair voice on their memo and TDS'ers will start shouting at the sky again.
if he does release it while he can declassify it they will say that he is being reckless with classified data and teh TDS'ers will start shouting at the sky again.

His best play is to send the memo back to each agency and tell them to redact any and all classified data as it exists in the memo. have it resubmitted.
schiff is not the president even though he is attempting to try and play it.

he has 0 say in what gets redacted in the memo or not.

The democrat memo was predicted to be nothing but a political stunt before it was ever approved in congress, and now it's official.

Remember how Pelosi and the rest of those dishonest idiots were screaming from the roof tops about the republican memo breaching national security, when of course it didn't? Now they refuse to remove actual breeches of national security from their memo, because of course they were then, and are now, completely and totally full of ****.

I think one side is trying to gain all the mileage they can over the release of the Republican memo and the other side all the mileage they can on Trump refusal to release it. One huge partisan political game being played by both side for their own political advantage. It's time to end the memo game and release the FISA warrant. That is the only way to be sure one way or the other or it may not back up either side. Who knows?
 
Damn this is all so pathetic.

- Republicans release their opinion.
- Democrats have a memo to rebut with their own opinion.
- Republicans have a rebuttal memo to the Democrats rebuttal.

Hey, I hear Bernie Sanders, as an Independent, has a sticky note!

None of their crap matters. Just let the investigation do its job and shut the hell up. And, um, thanks for being such great leaders.
