I'll say that there probably is some sensitive information (not classified) that is of concern, or Rosenstein and Wray probably wouldn't have signed it, unless it was under duress, like the Comey letter.

That said, it's not like Trump cared about their concerns the last time, and as I stated before, it was Rosenstein whom signed the FISA renewals. So if his words good for this, then Trump should remember that when the application is finally made public.

I actually wish the democrat memo get's released, however I can not blame trump just yet for denying it, as I as well as everyone else here knows little about what is inside it. The republican memo when released had no damaging classified info published, rather it seemed the info released was more embarrasing than classified with the exception of names.

I do not know if the democrats counter rebuttal has the same guidelines or if they went hogwild with more sensitive classified information, if it was non damaging I would think the dems would leak it regardless of what trump does or wants, which leads me to believe their current memo might be released after major redactions.
 
Did anyone expect anything different?

Yes. The problem is that you're trying to defend Trump's decision not to release the Democratic rebuttal to the Nunes memo with written warnings given by Rosenstein and Wray about the Nunes memo, which Trump released anyway over FBI and DOJ objections!

Neither the FBI or DOJ have offered any written or verbal objection to the Democratic memo, since Trump already declassified and distributed the very classified information you are complaining about.

So yes, I agree with you, it pays to know WTF one is talking about.

Scuttlebutt in the WH is that if it doesn't have double-spaced bullet points containing one sentence or less and fitting on a single page, he just hands it to someone else.

Let's see, it's been review by the FBI, and the DOJ, and it got passed to be released unanimously by the House intelligence committee (both republicans and democrats). I would say that if any of them had objections, they would have said NO. I trust the people whose JOB it is to evaluate that kind of issue a lot more than Trumps.

At this point, yes. The cat is out of the bag now, and the Republicans fired first. So let's see it all, or we can just continue this right wing memo fueled circle jerk court of opinion and tell everyone how corrupt the FBI is for doing their job.
