Trump's embarrassing split-screen moment on stocks

This is embarrassing...
Trump embarrassed himself and the nation? Must be Tuesday.

Back in reality, the President rarely has any real impact on the markets. (Note that if Trump nukes North Korea, that will have an impact... That's the kind of Presidential action that would make a real dent.) The real issue is his sheer idiocy in claiming any credit for the markets, especially since there has been a big international boost in asset markets around the globe.

We should also note that the markets have been overheated for some time, so it is not surprising that we're having a correction. For those of us who pay attention to the long term, this doesn't mean much, it's just retreating on a few months of gains.

Do your own search!

When do you think we'll get an ambassador to South Korea ?

So you admit that you pulled that out of thin air.

Oh so you don't agree with the $1.50 paycheck increase as a fact? But you think the tax cuts are an oversell?

I find that the 1.50 might not be becuse of the new tax schedule.. yet.

I'm sure trump is waiting for computerized trading to kick in later today ...

Yet.. hannity , in his infinite partisanship, gives Trump the credit for the upswing in 2017, but is blaming Obama for the down turn.

Hannity is a moron. He's a caricature of an adult with a working brain.

No one is surprised to see the low-information posts about the stock market show up so quickly. I don't expect to see any discussion surrounding the circumstances of this stock market fall. I'll wait and watch, but doubt you'll disappoint.

...ya live by the sword, ya die by the sword. President wants credit where its not necessarily earned, then he gets the commensurate blame when its not necessarily deserved. The market was due for a correction, just as the US is due for a recession. Trump was a tad bit foolish trying to give himself all the credit, now he gets to ride on the other side of the roller-coaster.

ryan's Demicratic opponent in WI-01 is doing very well fundraising off of ryan's tweet ...

You mean low-information people like Hannity who is blaming Obama for this market crash?
No, it is the low information useful idiots who will find an excuse for anything less a single strand of the comb over of their idol be out of place.

I know trump's not beneath doing this but... I wonder if he'll go after a pregnant parapalegic veteran now?

Duckworth calls out 'Cadet Bone Spurs' after Trump's 'treasonous' remark

An Illinois Democrat who was seriously wounded in Iraq derisively referred to President Donald Trump's draft deferments after Trump called Democrats "treasonous" for not clapping during his State of the Union speech.

"We don't live in a dictatorship or a monarchy. I swore an oath—in the military and in the Senate—to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not to mindlessly cater to the whims of Cadet Bone Spurs and clap when he demands I clap," Sen. Tammy Duckworth tweeted Monday evening.

Oh he'll go after her. He doesn't care. He's a twisted man.

She's right. We don't live in a dictatorship or a monarchy. Just because some peoples lives are so pathetic that they feel the need to worship the man doesn't mean normal people do.

He's an ignorant piece of trash for calling people who don't clap for him "treasonous".

There can be no question that chief of staff Rogue kelly has gone completely off the rails ...

Some woman got a $1.50 extra in her paycheck? I'll bet that pissed you off good, right? She should have to pay 50% tax on that, shouldn't she?

What the **** are you talking about?

Some woman getting a $1.50/week raise is meaningless. It's new "let them eat cake crumbs" levels of cluelessness.

There's no reason to let that distract us from the 83% rise in federal budget deficits along with the massive multi-trillion-dollar tax cut where 84% of it goes to the super rich.

If i had ten cents for every President Trump supporter eager to shoot themselves in the foot, i'd be a god damn millionaire.

who flung dung--Kim Jung trump--you must clap for me or you are traasonous and unAmerican.

We love our Sen. Duckworth, a real military hero; just like Mr. Mueller and Sen. McCain ...

Hum.. There are more people like that around.. Question for the day.. if Mueller indicts Trump, will he try him as an adult??

That seems to have been true even before that tweet.

Physically, yes. He's old. Mentally, no. He seems to have the critical thinking skills of a 5 year old.

McCain, the RINO POW who Trump doesn't like because he doesn't like POWs? That McCain?

By the way, what Tweet were you talking about (Ryan's tweet and fundraising)?

That seems to have been true even before that tweet.

Randy Bryce is now up to 3 million compared to ryan's 10 million ...

The $1.50 per week tweet and the fundraising by Randy Bryce off of it.

Romney/Ryan won Ryan's CD by 4%; trump won it by over 10% ...

Pretty much because this president isn't following Bush. Let's just see what happens between now and 2020... shall we?
Thanks for acknowledging that nearly all under this president is up looking, something most on your side refuse. GW from the tax and spend party did, with ol Barry et al as an accessory ,being a senator from the tax and spend more party, leave us in a hole. And yes, I am planning, hoping to still be around to see what happens...

But 2020 on through 2024 under this president and a reformed, spend less-get more bang for your buck party should be nice and tranquilly prosperous

I have to check on it. Was it Ryan's Tweet?

Ryan was boasting about a $1.50/week raise that a secretary received:

"A secretary at a public high school in Lancaster, PA, said she was pleasantly surprised her pay went up $1.50 a week ... she said [that] will more than cover her Costco membership for the year," Ryan tweeted with a link to the full article.

Paul Ryan deletes tweet about tax cuts after Twitter backlash - CNNPolitics

The full article that Ryan linked had some other points in it:

“I have heard time and again that the middle class is getting crumbs, but I’ll take it!” Love said by email.
...
“I think the people this bill made the most difference for are the ones who needed it least,” he said.

Ryan really should have found a better fluff article...

I applaud any good economic news. Like how Barry, as you say, fixed bushes economic blunder and got us economically solid again. Then handed that off to trump who I know he's doing the usual republican thing of creating a massive bubble for someone else to clean up.
