Train carrying lawmakers to GOP retreat involved in accident

I don't agree with anything that's going on politically right now in this country but I absolutely loved seeing those that serve us get out of that train and at least they were able to save 1 life if not 2.
Did you hear about the senators wife a surgeon that basically preformed surgery in the grass on the person that was severely injured?
These are the moments that make me proud.

they've wanted to end federal subsidies, but the trains in the NE corridor either make money or are funded in state-amtrak partnerships. in the congested NE corridor amtrak is a very profitable service.

I do not want to end subsidies for the amtrak trains since I am a guest rewards rider and use long distance trains frequently, but this train route wouldn't be ended by any proposed republican plan
