Well, she knew before she married him that he was a scuzzy person and married him anyway. It's hard to feel sorry for Melania when she made her choices with eyes wide open. He gets a trophy wife and she gets a lifestyle that she could never afford. The only downside is all the downside of being married to Trump.

Before he married her, she knew he cheated on both his previous wives. Sorry, but I don't feel much sympathy for her not realizing that he would probably cheat on her as well. As his supporters keep claiming, it's just Trump being Trump. She knew the risks, she knew the man, she can lie down in the bed she made.

On the plus side, she probably would get a healthy settlement after a divorce which will most likely happen AFTER Trump's presidency.

Trump was banging Stormy just months after his wife gave him a son. Family man I think not. The woman must be embarrassed. At least Bill never had to pay for it like ol Orange lard ass. Stormy should ask for a bonus!!

I agree with you, however, it's more of an OpEd than a vetted article, especially for a paper like the Grey Lady NYT. There was a lot of supposition and conspiracy-esque grasping at strawmen, such as "Did her movements symbolize a simple need to unwind, a deep displeasure with her role or both?" in this particular article. It really should have been published as an OpEd, although it was at least published in the politics portion of the paper (and other papers) which is basically just OpEd's from whomever writes the article slanted toward whatever ideology they espouse and defend.

Remember the nations "Favorite Girl Next Door" Sandra Bullock? She married a guy who was previously married to a porn star. And guess what? Duh. Women are selling and men are buying, and the higher profile person you are the more temptation there is. I don't like it. I don't agree with it. But "you can take men out of the cave, but you can't take the cave out of the man". I can't change it. Men and women are going to do what they do - have sex with each other.

Melania Trump visited the Holocaust museum just 5 days ago while Trump was in Davos to pay her respects so to say she has been out of sight is a lie.

No, but the fact that they're only guessing why she made a couple of plan changes -- does make it a conspiracy theory.

She cancelled one trip and visited a holocaust site and her home, Mar-a-lago, for a couple of days.

If she leaves her husband, you might have something to gossip about, as it is -- it's all just status quo.

This is true. When Melania met Ol Happy Pants she was at the end of her modeling career and broke. He cut her check and she laid down. Hopefully she cashed the check before doing the deed. Ol Happy Pants has a rep for not paying bills.

Based on liberals newfound Christian values, is it safe to presume that Ted Cruz is going to be their presidential nominee in 2020?

And I'm a firm believer in leaving kids/first ladies/cousins out of the limelight as long as they're not doing anything political. That's why I was fine with the MSM attacking Bush' kids after they started making political comments but was kinda pissed at righties for attacking Obama's kids. The First Lady is not pushing any sort of agenda at all. If she starts talking about immigration, or that sanctity of marriage then yes, by all means, tear her a new one. But leave her the **** alone otherwise.

Doesn't matter. The Times makes up their own stuff. Put it in the correct thread. They're trying to imply there's trouble in paradise between Trump and wife, and nothing's been confirmed. Put it in the correct thread.

It's not that liberals have assimilated conservative values, liberals always had those values. On the contrary, conservatives have not even decided to abandon their principles, when they defend a corrupt sexual predator who attacks law enforcement and acts like a foreign agent. It's obvious that the principles were never real -- just tools to advance a plutocratic agenda.

The NYT's article debunked itself;

She made a " visit to the Holocaust Memorial Museum". Apparently not as "Out of Sight" as they claim.
 
And the obsession with Melania continues.

Somebody needs to get a life. There are millions of other stories out there that people care more about.
 
Arrived separately to the State of the Union address and looked pretty unimpressed when the camera fell on her.

You can see in her face and body language. THere have been several pics/videos where she moves away when he tries to put his hand behind her back, take her hand, etc.

And they published a pic last week where, getting onto Air Force One, he took the (big) umbrella and didnt offer to hold it over her too. Yeah...what a prince.

But as mentioned earlier...she knew he was cheating when she first met him. That he had cheated on the wife before that too. She cant realistically claim surprise. She helped humiliate the previous wife....
