Senate Democrats Seek to Protect Mueller From Being Fired

The difference between most felonies, misdemeanors, and charges dropped are not saying a word and getting a good lawyer, political connections, and financial status. On a regular basis I hear how someone got their job because they knew somebody, especially a good government job. That is a crime worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and in most cases millions of dollars. A job paying 75k a year is 1.5 million dollar crime over 20 years. Of course the same people that have taken these jobs are pointing their finger at Trump yelling crook. This is one little example of the everyday corruption that most of the people in this country are tied to or are a part of one way or the other.



I would love to. We need to start right in our homes, family and friends. Persecuting Trump while other just as bad leaders are given a pass out of pure hate is not the answer. Where was the investigation when Iran took the hostages clearly causing Carter to lose the election. Not only were the hostages released when Reagan took office but they got the weapons Carter wouldn't sell them from Reagan. Trump is clearly a witch hunt in comparison to obvious rigging of an election against Carter. I could go on all day about the corruption by the Kennedy's. I think Robert was the only that didn't belong in prison.

Well, these are pretty reasonable points, and I must admit we often too easily look at the Kennedy's through rose-tinted glasses. Dems revere the Kennedys, and to that effect we'll see one speak tonight. But I wonder how we'd feel today, when faced with past improprieties you mention. History always looks better in the rear-view morrow, eh?

I was mirroring the absurdity of the "are you saying" that you tossed out. I'm glad you picked up on it.

You keep claiming civil rights were violated, but have failed to specify the how and when. I wont hold my breath.

1. That's your opinion.

2. SCOTUS would decide, and not you.

3. The fact that it was passed into law and NOT challenged sets a legal precedent...and while legal precedents are not a guarantee of future decisions by SCOTUS, such are normally a primary consideration in their decisions.

He could try - but that would essentially make defending him impossible - and the rallying cry for the next 2 elections.

Whelp. Who's ready for shutdown 2.0? It's going to be an interesting couple weeks. I for one believe the investigation should be carried out to its full extent. I also really hope that that it ends soon, regardless of the outcome.

Trump is all about efficiency in government. If the released memo is true, and the entire illegal wire tapping and collusion investigation was based on lying to the FISA judge, using fabricated evidence; Clinton dossier. Even if Mueller finds something, it can be thrown out of court. It is a waste of time and tax payer money to continue on path that has no way to succeed, due to its illegal beginning. It like illegal search evidence being presented in a murder trial. This will result in a mis-trial. Why spend more and more money on a case, based on an illegal foundation, that will be easy to override? The Democrats know this and don't care, they only want interference until midterms. They are desparate.
