That is a rocking song. Thanks!!!

Okay, let's go with "what Trump ran on." No wall funding, because "what Trump ran on" was that Mexico would pay for it.
he didnt say HOW though, did he....
and there have been discussions about a fee/tax on all money transfers going south
if we tax all outgoing payments, it will take 5-6 years to pay for the wall @ a 5-6% fee rate
democrats wont even discuss
That is a rocking song. Thanks!!!
I thought 6 years of CHIP funding was in the existing CR?
It wasn't legal trouble. I had rampant hormones. Medivac Crewchief on a base with a lot of female trainees. What could go wrong? Let's just leave it at that.
not at what they offered before....
you arent getting DACA for 1.6b which was already authorized back in '06
the wall is what Trump ran on...do you really think he is going to capitulate on that?
so the funding has to majorly improve....

Is it just me or have we started referring to CR's as the way the budget is supposed to get done? The chance of ever getting to balanced budgets seems pretty far fetched if we can't get one done at all.
It doesn't matter what Trump ran on. A wall is stupid and wasteful. I'm not going to be ok with wasting half a trillion dollars to satisfy that man's ego. Are you?
The wall will cost more than Trump says it will. A lot more.
Now it's a partial wall! Progress, I suppose.i think we can afford to BEEF UP security on our southern border, including a partial wall
i think we can do it for around 18-20 billion total
and i dont expect the american people to pay for it all....
all we have to do is enact a small fee on every money transaction heading south
5-6% of the 80 billion or so that leaves our country for places south
would take about 5 years to pay for all the security issues and the partial wall....
and mexico and her citizens would be the ones who pay the majority of the bill
Now it's a partial wall! Progress, I suppose.
A tax on money "going south" is making Americans pay for it. Where do you think tax money comes from, leprechauns?
Right now...I'd say funding the government is far more important than DACA.
What ever happens, they need a comprehensive deal that ends the issue... Implement a pathway to citizenship/greencard for DACA members... and stop illegal immigration... and if they are too unreasonable... I would continue the shutdown for months...
They can't walk and chew gum at the same time? Seems like there is more to it when we know that the majority of Republican Senators support a DACA deal.
most of the money going south is NOT from americans
and it isnt going to support american citizens
it is leaving our economy to prop up some other family in a far away place....and because we will never see the benefit of that money again, a small fee is needed
you guys understand taxes and fees....you usually LOVE them
so we tax money leaving the USA for points south....a small token expense for sending american dollars to columbia, mexico, brazil, and all other points south
They don't want to do that, illegal immigration is a shiny object they dangle in front of their constituency to distract them while they allow the rich rape teh country. This, along with abortion, has been going on forever. Stupid distractions with fictional, overblown problem to scapegoat. It's ridiculous. Ridding the country of all illegals will not improve American lives as they are not the cause of the problems, no matter what BS Fox news and republican politicians claim.
There are a hell of a lot other issues that are causing it. We need to stop being distracted by the stupid things
Except that the spending bill had nothing to do with DACA. If it had then you might have a point. But it doesn't. So you don't.
This is the last time Democrats will allow McConnell to break his word, with the Nation now fully focused on McConnellism and Stephen Miller ...

You act as if this is the first time in history that an unrelated bill is attached as part of another bill....and knowing your interest in politics, I can't believe that you would actually believe such a thing.
