Here are the Democratic candidates at this point: Deedra Abboud, Bob Bishop, Chris Russell, Richard Sherzan, and Kyrsten Sinema. For the record, I don't know any of these people.

Trump & has buddies are clearly drunk on power, and need to be removed from office A.S.A.P. 2020 can't come soon enough, unless Mueller ends the party earlier.

Not wanting to have this moved to the CT forum, but am I the only one that thinks this whole "mistake" was some kind of scare tactic used to further a NOKO agenda?
I don't think is was some accident, nor do i believe they were working all that hard to send out an 'Oh, crap, we make a mistake" message.
Not when the original one said " this is NO DRILL ".
That does not sound like an accident to me.

Could it be someone at the FEDERAL LEVEL physically in that state initiated the false alarm?
The FCC are the ones that have overall control of the system.
Just throwing out the possibility.
Something just does not add up with its timing and its location.

Too often lately, I find myself checking to see that some of these OPs are not stories from the onion or some other satirical website. They seem too nuts to be real.

Each side is moving more and more to the extreme left and right and those of us caught in the middle might be falling down the chasm if we do not jump on one side or the other.
...and logic, reason, and sanity has been left behind.
Such I feel, is our current state of political affairs.

I take comfort in the fact, if you raise your head out of the political bucket and look around, we are all still pretty well off and happy.

Given what happened with Hawaii back then, I am not surprised to see that he still thinks it was phony and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see that it was, if that information came to light in the future. I guess he is still pretty hung up on it though, so who can blame him for voicing his opinion?

I've been stationed in Hawaii and know full well how easily they can screw this kind of stuff up.

I accept that it was a "Hawaiian worker" working for the state. The FCC doesn't control anything, they pass rules and perform enforcement. There is no KFCC or WFCC broadcaster.

I think we're going to be surprised, and perhaps blessed, in just how good Sherrif DogFace will do in the primaries.

The hicks love this guy. They love his over the top inhumane treatment of prisoners, his conspiracy theories, and complete disregarding of federal laws. So it's entirely possible he gets the ticket, or at least creates such a mess of the primaries for the Republicans, that the Democrats take the victory just like Alabama.

DNC infighting cost us in 2014-2016 and we underestimated statistically low scenarios (like Trump) in the elections, and lately the RNC is doing exactly the same thing.

What happened with Hawaii "back then"? And I'm not surprised he's still claiming it was phony because he's a nutjob of the first order. If not, he'd have been convinced by the overwhelming evidence that shows Obama was born in Hawaii, and the NO, ZERO, NADA, evidence he was born somewhere other than Hawaii.

And I don't blame him for voicing his opinion, but we normally relegate whackjobs like Sheriff Joe to the fringes and don't elevate them to national office.

Sure, there were stories, but why do we care about a transport company bribing Russians to get contracts? I'm glad they were caught and prosecuted, but don't see why it would interest anyone outside that company's competitors who lost contracts.
