He's making a tongue in cheek joke but coming to ridiculously wrong conclusions. While Middle management and Fred Trump were specifically cited and quoted as making racist comments, Donald Trump never was. This is in connection to a lawsuit that took place in the 1970's.

I don't really see a connection with calling a country a ****hole (which is still alleged) and racism... Countries do not equate with race. Some countries are actual ****holes that are poorly run and highly corrupt.

But most of the referred to ****hole countries have one thing in common: skin color. Norway is inhabited mainly by happy white people with blond hair.

Also, Trump was referring to the people who live in said ****hole countries, and why would we want to let any of them come here. That's pretty damned personal to the people who live there, people who, contrary to Trump's apparent belief, do not actually live in huts and can actually read newspapers.

Honestly, why would we want any of them here? What can they provide America? How can they benefit us? Of course, that has to be judged on an individual basis, but I doubt that many people in Somalia are going to do anything here but go on welfare. Why should we want that again?

The vast majority, which is why the countries are such ****holes in the first place. And when you have a people who aren't willing to fight against that corruption, they just want to run elsewhere, why should we want them here again? It isn't like early Americans just whined and cried and ran away from British rule. We fought back.

I know many from countries who worked their ass off to come to the US. They are not on welfare and many are colleagues of mine making good money. However, many who come via the lottery program and non-merit based programs should be barred entry. Many in those countries are willing to work and study hard to better themselves and escape poverty and in turn better America too. That being said though, calling the countries "****holes" is not racist, some on the left needs to whip up that meme to advance the "resistance." Everything is racist.

I was making a simple observation, not researching my Masters thesis. There are probably many factors involved with these many countries. But skin color is the one common thread, as is his liking people from Norway, who have white skin.

Thanks for that Trib link showing those 'this place is a ****hole' light projections on a trump property. I saved it for my wife ...
