As for Simpsons testimony, he claimed the FBI had a source inside the Trump campaign. That was a LIE.

Simspson was forced to " correct " that statement after the fact.

He claimed no one at Fusion GPS spoke Russian. That was a LIE.

Fusion GPS hired Bruce Ohrs wife Nellie Ohr, who not only spoke Russian but was a expert on Russian affairs.

Bruce Ohr, was removed from his other senior position at the DOJ recently. Care to explain why ?

Why did McCabe announce his retirememt after he testimony ? Any clue ?

Not difficult- for some critical thinking is needed. I figured this was explained some time ago.

McCabe is taking early retirement- he was appointed Jan 2016- McCabe replaced a fellow that retired from the FBI and if Comey had served a full term, he would have eventually retired.

It is a position that is filled by the Director FBI- his own man/woman- - Comey gone, new Director would be doing the same as Comey did- McCabe the focus of Republicans attacks. He is retiring for those 3 reasons. The latter being the main reason.

When asked when he learned that Hillary and the DNC were funding the dossier, he drew a blank.

Again...GOAL POST MOVER...but I'll agree with you in-part here only because Mr. Simpson stated plainly in his SIC testimony that he hired Russian translators...mostly for other investigative work he was doing involving Russian businessmen and investors in the U.S., but he spoke factual when he stated that no one employed at FusionGPS speaks Russian. Still, I'll give you half credit....C-.

Haven't kept up with those storylines but if they had anything to do with lack of disclosure or not being forthcoming with what they knew or their associations with entities involved with the Russian investigation or even showing bias toward the primary investigative target, i.e., Mr. Trump, I'd say they were fired and/or demoted for cause wouldn't you? No big mystery here. NEXT!

So anyone who allows for such possibilities as health, other offers, hates where he is, family issues or simply to take a break, anyone who allows for those possibilities is NOT a "critical thinker" but refusing to consider any other possibility, remaining close minder without a shred of evidence IS "critical thinking"?

I figure they used more than one. As in the photo- burrow down, get to the bottom start on next stack- while doing this keep on with Dark State, and other BS. They would be a hit in CT Threads.

They were once the party of law and order, respect for institutions, deficit hawks. Now they have chucked all that and will reap the whirlwind.
I sorta have an expectation/hope at the end of this a Bi Partisan Committee, no elected Politicians- to investigate all and explain to the American people who was leading them astray with lies and BS. And I am sure, sure as little green apples will give you the runs, Nunes and others will be at the top of the list

Obviously Sztrok's demotion has to do with that meeting in " Andy's office", but what about Ohr ?

Understand that most of the MSM pick and choose what stories to cover. Corruption within the Obama administration isn't something they wish to cover. You know the last part of 2017 Sessions opened a new probe into the Uranium One deal. He also lifted the gag order on the undercover agent who for years infiltrated the Russians and their bribery/money laundering schemes that Obama's DOJ placed on him from talking. He has been singing to Congress. It has resulted in another arrest in the Uranium One Deal. But did CNN cover it? No. How about ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC, did they cover it? No. But they sure have had 24/7 coverage of ****holegate.

Don't be so sure about that (bolded above) because the "just us" system works by each elite politician having dirt on the other such that deals are made to trade "stay out of jail free cards" for themselves and their underlings.

Vesper, you may have confidence "That's alright, in the end truth will be the victor.", but I see it more as a case of the Big lie, told often enough it becomes the truth. In the end, I hope you are right.

I understand your concerns Eohrnberger. After last week learning about how Twitter and Facebook are operating along with an MSM that is basically another arm of the Democratic Party that has become totally unhinged since Trump won the election, one wonders if Truth can survive if it is something leftists don't want to hear and refuse to report. I can recall multiple times just in recent history (the last 100 years) how the media was used to convince people to do the unthinkable. We simply can't allow that to happen. The worst thing we can do is convince ourselves it is hopeless.

Considering the overt manipulation by the media, I'd welcome a wholesale rejection of it and it's current practices by the majority of the electorate.
Rather doubt that this is likely to happen anytime soon, any more so than the media going to changing their current practices.
