There was commentator on the cable news today who was able to put the events of the last few days in perspective. Paraphrasing he said, ‘ the President of the United States is under 24/7 scrutiny. You can be someone else for a short burst, but because of the attention, who you really are will eventually be revealed.’ Truth will out......

Why were they taken aback? Trump has already previously stated that all Haitians have AIDS, Nigerians live in huts, and Mexicans are criminals and rapists.

A modern and thoroughly Caucasian Scandinavian country like Norway would have far more appeal to the white supremacist element in Trumps base.

I don't blame them. This country is going down the drain along with all the losers who couldn't make anything of their own country so are coming here. We have come to the point where the hard working people who made this country great are being replaced by losers who have proven they cannot get it done in their on country so they want to reap our rewards.

Does anybody remember when Republicans attacked Obama for being disrespectful toward other countries and our allies? Yeah, that was like an entire lifetime ago.

I'm impressed that Republicans were "taken aback." I'm sure they'll need smelling salts and counseling in order to heal.

I see some of our resident Trump supporters are having trouble keeping up. They don't have anything to say about this stuff other than, bad MSM for reporting on Trump, or anonymous sources shouldn't be trusted. Why do these people think this way??? Why can't they ever admit that they were wrong about Trump? Why can't they admit that Trump does bad things sometimes? I'm giving them leeway here because obviously we both think and know Trump does bad things all the time. But I seem to recall the most feverish Obama supporters admit that they didn't like some stuff he did.

So how would you describe Haiti, El Salvador, and a lot of the pathetic countries of Africa? The land of milk and honey where millions of people are trying to move to watch the deer and unicorns play. The only way things could get worse is if everyone died. The people of these countries have made a ****hole out of there countries. I would say that is an accurate statement.
