Senate Democrats just released full testimony on the Trump-Russia dossier

Whats funny is you guys celebrating but once again duped and suckered by the MSM...

read the actual article. It supports that there was no collusion between trump and russia.

Where does it say that?

Given that it was an unclassified session, I suspect (possibly wrongly) there won't be a lot of meat on this bone, for either side of the debate. It is good, however, for the testimony to be released and made publicly available.

Consider that they have not called E Trump back after his claim of lawyer-client privilege regarding Trump Snr writing Eric's response on the Russians in Trump Tower.

And others that should be called, or interviewd KT McFarland pops to mind. Yet they go after Steele.
Don Jr. Cited Attorney-Client Privilege on Talks With Dad

Earlier this week, Donald Trump’s lawyer argued it doesn’t matter that his client may have obstructed justice on 19 occasions, because as the nation’s top law-enforcement officer, the president is incapable of obstructing justice. Many legal experts disagreed with this assertion, yet on Wednesday the Trump team decided to try out another creative legal claim.

During a full day of closed-door testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, Donald Trump Jr. refused to discuss a phone call he had with his father in July after news broke that he and other Trump officials met with Kremlin-connected individuals in June 2016. Though neither he nor his father are lawyers, Trump Jr. said the conversation was protected by attorney-client privilege because their attorneys were on the call.

I think the third bullet in the article indicates as such. Then again, this dossier was created by collusion with Russians.

I saw nothing to indicate what you saw. I'm sure I'm just missing it. Can you cut and paste it here?

I try not to pay too much attention to those things...what leaks were they stating?
Surely you've heard the expression "once it's on the Internet, it stays on the Internet forever"?

That doesn't just go for nudie pics, you know. ;)

I managed to delete yours.

Nah I'm good. thanks

Which is exactly what I expected. Since you clearly lied about what the article claimed so that you could work in a cheap shot, it's pretty clear you owe everybody here an apology. At best, you didn't lie but were mistaken in your mad rush to make fun of other posters, in which case you owe everybody here an apology.

Well, that's just a lie. I'm reading the interview right now and quote:

Simpson said:
So the issue with the Trump Tower meeting, as I understand it, is that the Trump people were eager to accept intelligence from a foreign government about their political rivals and that is, you know, I would say, a form of interference. If you're getting help from a foreign government and your help is intelligence, then the foreign government's interfering. I mean, you know, I think that also -- of course, in retrospect we now know this was pretty right on target in terms on what it says. So anyway --
Q. In reference to you think that particular sentence?
A. I mean, it clearly refers to, you know, them being interested in and willing to -- it depicts them as accepting information. What we have seen to date with the disclosures this year is they were at a minimum super interested in getting information.
Q. And when you're referencing the "disclosures this year," could you just be specific about that.
A. The Trump Tower meeting.
Q. So with reference to the June 9th Trump Tower meeting?
A. Yes. Yes.
Page 154

So where are you coming up with this lie?

#triggered much? Don't be such a #snowflake. Read the bullets, it's clear they couldn't see any collusion and in fact state otherwise. it's right there. I don't care if you read it or not,.

And why is Simpson hesitant to name his sources?

14 MR. FOSTER: So without getting into naming
15 the sources or anything like that, what steps did
16 you take to try to verify their credibility?
17 MR. SIMPSON: I'm going to decline to answer
18 that.
19 MR. FOSTER: Why?
20 MR. LEVY: It's a voluntary interview, and in
21 addition to that he wants to be very careful to
22 protect his sources. Somebody's already been
23 killed as a result of the publication of this
24 dossier
and no harm should come to anybody related
25 to this honest work.

Well that should shut down the intrigue!

So caught in a lie, you've chosen to double down by lashing out at others and lying more. Wouldn't you feel so much better if you just tried to exhibit some honor once in a while?

Well, that's just a lie. I'm reading the interview right now and quote:

So where are you coming up with this lie?

Simpson had no "factual reason to believe" the Trump Tower meeting was a Russian attempt to make contact with the Trump campaign, ......"

I have more honor and integrity than you, so you should keep your opinions on me to yourself.

Someone has already been killed? Who? And why? And who killed who?

Now this I'd put on Putin... who has a habit of having anyone he dislikes, turning up dead.

Simpson had no "factual reason to believe" the Trump Tower meeting was a Russian attempt to make contact with the Trump campaign, ......"

"...but: "You know, as a sort of question of counterintelligence and just general investigation of Russian methods and that sort of thing, I think that's a reasonable interpretation."

Just what do you believe that says or suggests?

Just what do you believe that says or suggests?

Can you just leave the thread instead of stupifying it with your nonsense. I was enjoying reading about this but now all I see is an argument about your bs.

Should be interesting. I wonder why Grassley lied to his constituents when he said he would release it and then blocked it's release?

Senate Democrats just released full testimony on the Trump-Russia dossier. Here's what's in it

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on Tuesday released the full transcript from Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson's testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

"The innuendo and misinformation circulating about the transcript are part of a deeply troubling effort to undermine the investigation into potential collusion and obstruction of justice," Feinstein said in a statement. "The only way to set the record straight is to make the transcript public."

And we now have this:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/feinstein-releases-testimony-of-glenn-simpson-whose-research-firm-fusion-gps-was-behind-trump-dossier/2018/01/09/15da150a-f562-11e7-beb6-c8d48830c54d_story.html?utm_term=.873694bfe0b7

Fusion GPS founder told Senate investigators the FBI had a source in Trump’s network

By Devlin Barrett and Tom Hamburger January 9 at 1:53 PM

The British ex-spy who authored a dossier of allegations against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump was told the FBI had someone inside Trump’s network providing agents with information, according to a newly released transcript of a congressional interview.

Glenn R. Simpson, a founder of the research firm Fusion GPS, spoke to investigators with the Senate Judiciary Committee for 10 hours in August. As the partisan fight over Russian interference in the 2016 election has intensified, Simpson has urged that his testimony be released, and a copy of the transcript was made public Tuesday.

It was released by the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California. That decision marks the most serious break yet in the cooperative relationship she has had with the Republican chairman of the committee, Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa).

Simpson had no "factual reason to believe" the Trump Tower meeting was a Russian attempt to make contact with the Trump campaign, ......"
This is another lie, this time by omission. Post the full quote:

"Simpson had no "factual reason to believe" the Trump Tower meeting was a Russian attempt to make contact with the Trump campaign, but: "You know, as a sort of question of counterintelligence and just general investigation of Russian methods and that sort of thing, I think that's a reasonable interpretation.""

And here's the full quote, from page 134:

Simpson said:
Q. Other than recent media reports, do you have any reason to believe that the meeting was an attempt by the Russian government to make contact with the Trump campaign?
A. I mean, that's kind of an analytical question. I don't have any factual reason to believe that. I don't have possession of any information about this that would allow me to say one way or the other. You know, as a sort of question of counterintelligence and just general investigation of Russian methods and that sort of thing, I think that's a reasonable interpretation.

Are you going to continue posting lies in this thread? Are you going to address the fact Simpson CLEARLY did not state what you asserted in post 25?
I managed to delete yours.
And just a shade under a decade too...I'm flattered it took so long for you to get around to it. ;)

Bannon has already betrayed Trump, Priebus hasn't

Priebus was a very emphatic note-taker. Meaning he was very keen about what was going on around him.

Something else from the transcript that is most telling:

The GOP narrative is being blown to smithereens.

Why do you feel a need to shill for anti-American conspirators who put their own fortunes ahead of their country?
