Trump tells american farmers: ‘you are so lucky i gave you that privilege’ of voting for me

President Donald Trump gave a speech on Monday afternoon to farmers in Nashville, Tennesee, in which he told the audience they were lucky he gave them the privilege to vote for him.
"Oh, are you happy you voted for me,” President Trump said as farmers applauded him. “You are so lucky that I gave you that privilege."

Trump Tells American Farmers: ?You Are So Lucky I Gave You That Privilege? of Voting for Me

What a low life narcissist piece of crap.

I wasn't able to find that particular quote among his published remarks. I suspect that someone made it up.

Some of the quotes from his speech:

"Our farmers deserve a government that serves their interest and empowers them to do the hard work that they love to do so much."

“We have been working every day to deliver for America’s farmers just as they work every day to deliver for us.”

“We have created more than 2 million new jobs since the election. Economic growth has surged past 3 percent—way ahead of schedule.”

Thanks to tax reform, “American farmers will be able to deduct 100% of the cost of new equipment in the year you make the investment.”

“To level the playing field for our great American exporters . . . we are reviewing all of our trade agreements to make sure they are fair and reciprocal.”

“We are witnessing a new era of patriotism, prosperity and pride—and at the forefront of this exciting new chapter is the great American farmer.”

And beyond that there is the fact that the last time the President addressed this farmer's group was 26 years ago.

POTUS lying in public & acting like the pathological narcissist that he is is important to monitor. I'm waiting to see him actually tell the truth for once.

I hear there is a great book out there on trump you should read. It's only 3/4 lies so it should be good for you.

Those would be illegal workers, are you progressive suggesting that the status quo of abusing migrant labor is a good thing?

A labor system that is vital to the farm economy & that has been a way of life in this country for generations is absolutely a good & vital thing.

But they are illegally in the country making less than minimum wage? Are you for a "living wage"? if so, how can you justify support for migrant workers being paid less than minimum?

Like a lot of things Trump says that constantly chaps the ass of those who don't like him or hate that he kicked a boatload of Republicans and one Democrat to the curb, he said this to be funny...and it worked. His audience laughed and clapped.

But...like a lot of humorous things Trump says, this one is based on facts. By running, he gave them the privilege of voting for him instead of holding their noses and voting for one of that boatload...or that other one.

Right on cue. Such a good soldier.

All Trump's books were written by ghost writers. Garbage in, garbage out.

Not all lies but a bunch of baloney from the Distractor-in-Chief.

I didn't "change the subject". I just didn't follow YOUR anti-Trump narrative. I injected reality into the issue while showing that your narrative is nothing but Trump-hating spin.

If the shoe fits wear it.

I didn't mention Clinton...except in passing reference of her and those other Republicans getting kicked to the curb.

Did that trigger you?

You are tiresome. Time to IGNORE.

If he had not run they would not of been able to vote for him. He had to agree to take on the job. I'm guessing that's what he means by privilege.

See? When all else fails, the right tries to change the subject rather than dealing with the true facts. But it might also be brain damage from drinking the Kool-Aid too long: "Drinking the Kool-Aid" refers to the 1978 Jonestown Massacre; the phrase suggests that one has mindlessly adopted the dogma of a group or leader without fully understanding the ramifications or implications.
What makes you think because you miss frame something to defame trump that the rest of us are obligated to accept it as a truthful representation?

Trump is a self-absorbed, thin-skinned, homophobic, xenophobic, narcissistic, pathologically lying bully.

Ali Velshi on MSNBC this AM had a piece where he debunked the lies of the Trump Tax Scam. Of all the farms in America, only 80 privately held farms will benefit from the repeal of the Estate Tax. Trump lied that this was a tax cut for the middle class. It's in reality a tax cut for the wealthy donor class that the Republicans absolutely need in order to stay in power.
Well if it was on msnbc, it must be true.

With Trump ruining this country it is time to focus on his lying & the results.

It's always special to watch & listen to the hypocritical liar who occupies the WH.

His immigration policies will negatively affect the farmers he was addressing as they depend on low-cost immigrant labor to bring in their crops. Ironically he will be hurting his son Eric's vineyard operation in VA which depends on migrant workers to pick the grapes.
So your in favor of paying brown people less than minium wage. That's the exact kind of comment you would accuse someone not from the left as being racist for saying.
