Washington (CNN) - President Donald Trump slammed reports about his mental stability in a series of tweets Saturday morning, writing he's a "very stable genius."

Trump was responding to claims made in a new book, "Fire and Fury," by author Michael Wolff that allege he is mentally unfit to serve as President.
CNN has not independently confirmed all of Wolff's assertions.

Just one more example of the man's fragile ego, not what one wishes to see in a person who has the capacity to destroy half the world with just a few words.
 
As usual he got it wrong, he is neither stable or a genius. Sadly this comment from him proves their point and he is too stupid to realize it. What an embarrassing President, the sooner he is past history the better off this Nation will be. Make America Great Again Trump, Resign.
 
This man needs to be thoroughly examined by an eminent panel of mental health experts and they can tell us just what his mental state is. The idea that the nation is debating if our president is mentally stable or mental ill tells you this must come to a head and must be addressed. The fate of our nation and the world rests on this.
