Papadopoulos sat at the elbow of one of Trump’s top campaign advisers, then-Sen. Jeff Sessions, during a dinner for campaign advisers weeks before the Republican National Convention, according to an individual who attended the meeting.

He met in London in September 2016 with a mid-level representative of the British Foreign Office, where he said he had contacts at the senior level of the Russian government.

And he conferred at one point with the foreign minister of Greece at a meeting in New York.

Aside from the fact that Bannon is implying that his own publication is relatively illegitimate, it seems that Bannon would have been fine with the "unpatriotic" treason if only it were executed properly.

Can you explain why an investigation that started on a report about George Papodopolous chose to get a FISA warrant on Carter Page, and never got a warrant on George Papadopolous? Can you explain why the only charge filed against George Papadopolous is that he lied to the FBI in that January 2017 interview?

I mean, what the Aussie supposedly witnessed was an admission of a crime (right?)... and the FBI never talked to this supposed criminal until after the election? That doesn't seem odd to you? What makes you think you deserve to know any of that? It's an open investigation for **** sakes, no one is going to be answer those questions, revealing strategy etc.

I know how frightened "the base" must be but you have no grounds on which to lay suspicion, at least until the investigation is complete. If it was released you'd be howling about "leaks"?

Look, NOTHING being said here hasn't been said before, every line I recognize as a version of Nixon's thugs when he **** in his own bed.

But these over-the-top accusations, renewing bull**** about Hillary is all a very recognizable strategy based in fear that Trump's exploits will be made known. But you only underscore the growing sense of a president cornered like a rat and fighting back with lies and bull****.

To quote the right when dems were complaining of YEARS of investigation, I believe the mantra was "if they haven't done anything wrong they have nothing to fear!"

And the Trump crowd grows more and more afraid as each new revelation comes out.

Nothing surprises the right because youse know the nature of what's going on. Youse are no doubt chuckling over how slow we are over here picking it up and figuring it out. So I reiterate my concern that is first and foremost, i.e., did Putin buy Trump's Deutsche Bank debt, or did Putin arrange rather for one or more of his oligarchs to buy Trump's debt, either at Deutsche Bank or to other investors or both. And then some.

Everyone in NYC knew of the Trump Financial Empire's dealings with Russia over the past dozen years and more. The Clinton campaign would be guilty of malpractice had it not looked further into the connections and interrelationship. The bottom line is that Trump won with Putin's support while Clinton lost while opposing Putin in all things. American Conservatives have for a number of years wanted the USA to be more like Russia and now they've got their guy in the White House -- in the oval office besides. So no, nothing surprises youse over there.

How do you have a probe without surveillance? Plus there was the routine monitoring of Russian agents that picked up Trump people in the conversations. Even the British picked those up.

Plenty of evidence has been leaked. Not to mention all the lies that have been revealed about meetings with Russians. Surely that is evidence of wrong doing. Why else would they have lied about them? The dossier includes documentation on sources and that is substantiated.

What evidence do you have that said material would have to have been "leaked" by now? Is it automatic in the US that details of an investigation get leaked, such a normal event that you DOUBT any wrongdoing BECAUSE it has not been leaked?

I suggest you may want to re-visit that thinking, if anything there being no leaks suggests the investigation is on a higher professional plane than what some Americans are used to. Buy your logic asinine.

Bottom line is Mueller is running a tight-lipped ship. How long had Papadopoulos been originally brought on to work for the FBI before the public knew about it?
