Can you explain why an investigation that supposedly started with a report on George Papadopolous didn't even interview Papodopolous until January 2017? Can you explain why an investigation that started on a report about George Papodopolous chose to get a FISA warrant on Carter Page, and never got a warrant on George Papadopolous? Can you explain why the only charge filed against George Papadopolous is that he lied to the FBI in that January 2017 interview?

I mean, what the Aussie supposedly witnessed was an admission of a crime (right?)... and the FBI never talked to this supposed criminal until after the election? That doesn't seem odd to you? And it doesn't seem odd that there were endless leaks that gave us Carter Page, and Flynn, and Manafort... and yet we don't learn about Papadopolous' status as the origin of the investigation until AFTER the heat is rising on the funding of the dossier?

The funniest part is that he's using the exact same playbook he did for every other person who is now facing charges for some issue related to the Russia investigation. The only problem is that not a single person who he has used this playbook on is actually a minor character.

They are facing charges, they are cooperating and collaborating with the FBI, you seem to be saying that if you don't know what's going on - then it's some flaw in everyone else's criticism's of Trump, the problem is that Trump chose these people. Keep rambling about my ass though.

If they were detailing their knowledge of a criminal act then they would have immunity deals. No immunity deals? Then what are they supposedly divulging to the FBI? Banana bread recipes?

No, my questions are valid because this newly released narrative makes no bloody sense and you can't seem to even attempt to answer the questions.

The FBI supposedly was alerted to a material witness to a crime that the FBI thought was credible... but they didn't follow up with that witness for the better part of a year, and when they did the best they got was that he lied in that interview.

Where are the immunity deals? If they don't have immunity deals then they aren't talking about anything.

The FBI had been investigating the hack into the DNC for months so I am a bit dubious of the report that the FBI didn't start looking into the Russia story until it got wind of some drunken conversation with an Australian.

So I have decided that I dont have much of a problem with Bannon here, maybe he is driving some sense into Trump. If Trump honestly does not understand that The Hatchet Man is coming for his scalp and that he will get it regardless of what any of the truth is then Trump does not understand how deep into the ditch America is now.....He should wise up......Bannon might be helping.

I find it extremely odd that any FBI investigation of a server hack by a foreign government would not include their own examination of the server but under the "just us" system I guess anything is possible.

The FBI is harder to trust on the DNC hack because it relied on CrowdStrike’s analysis.

I guess you are just not that bright about how investigations work. They get a tip. Then they gather evidence and try for more tips. THEN usually when they have enough to book they interview the guy in hopes of getting him to turn states evidence on another. But it is cute that you thought it all starts by interviewing a suspect first before any evidence is gathered.

You are bending into one of the world's ugliest pretzel trying to dig out of this. I'm quite enjoying this Cirque du Soleil show you are putting on.

From what I've read is that that drunken conversation was just one of many other sources that kicked off the investigation. Not the only thing. All of which came before the dossier.

I am questioning the new media timeline narrative that the drunken ramblings of Papadapa started the FBI investigation. The FBI already knew the DNC had been hacked for a year.

Its possible he had something to do with it, but it doesn't seem like much. Plus, I don't think when the FBI investigation started is all that important. The issue is what triggered the surveillance.

They were apparently getting tips and looking before Papadopoulos. All of which came before the dossier.

We now know the tipping point that prompted the FBI to launch its Trump-Russia investigation

Though there were several events that prompted the bureau to investigate the campaign, Papadopoulos' conversation with the diplomat was reportedly the one that led the bureau to formally launch its probe.​

The investigation is a counter intelligence investigation.

Money laundering and Russians are at the core of it.

Follow the bread crumbs as they appear. My own question first and foremost is whether Putin bought Trump's Deutsche Bank debt -- or whether one or more of Putin's oligarchs bought Trump's Deutsche Bank debt.
