‘Multiple officers down’ in incident near Denver

Oh look, calamity is a tough on crime, conservative today. I wonder what he'll be tomorrow? No I don't.

I have always supported cops over thugs. Try again.

The Obama years were particularly bad for police officers, predictable outcome given Obama's past as a community organizer. All 3 police massacres during Obama's presidency had black suspects, yet the media never connected those dots, only the ones that pushed their narrative of racist cops supposedly unfairly targeting minorities.

Deadliest Days in Law Enforcement History

Not the time or place to blame Obama for this incident.

The police need to review this whole episode. The report is that the police were called there at 3 AM by his roommate who thought he was having a mental breakdown. They left when it was decided no laws had been broken.
They were then called back at 5 AM when the shooter locked himself in a bedroom and basically ambushed the officers.

The shooter shot off 100 rounds before being killed.

We need to find ways to protect our officers better. Don't have the answer but we can't just send them into ambushes like this.

FauxNews reports: ......... Riehl, who was killed, was an Army veteran who served briefly in Iraq

Reports say the shooter was in a bathroom, would not come out, made a bunch of noise, and then started blasting...

And people wonder why some cops shoot first and ask questions later.

WTF? Are you suggesting that the proper police response to hearing "a bunch of noise" coming from a room is to shoot into that room?

I don't believe that's what I wrote. You may want to read my post again.

Then what, exactly, did police shooting first and asking questions later mean when posted in this thread? It certainly seemed to imply that had the police shot (into that room) earlier (before the shooter fired) then the result would have been better. Please feel free to clear that up.

Read my post below. The bold should clear it up.

Wow. Sad day.

Countdown to blaming "liberals" or Democrats in 3, 2, 1.....

I believe you have that backwards the blame will be aimed at flag waving, bible toting, gun loving, conservative Christians.

That's not really what happened here.

No, I realize that. Just in relation to the generic comment that the poster made regarding police deaths.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up.

Those some should not be police officers and if they act on that logic should be in prison as well.

You're still misinterpreting my post.

One of the wealthier suburbs around Denver. I read just a few minutes ago that they believe the shooter has been killed.

Twelve minutes away from my house. It happened just on the other side of the 470 on the fringe border.

And what "dots" were those?

Sounds like another angry white man with an Assault Rifle.....

there has never been a mass shooting in the USA featuring an angry white male with a legally owned assault rifle

I have always supported cops over thugs. Try again.

Except for when you're cussing me out for posting a thread about what thugs actually do, and demanding that we not be able to see pictures of who committed the crime.

Well, race baiting is not exactly being anti-thug. In fact....it's the opposite.

Obama actually hired a man who described himself as a 'communist revolutionary', and used to stalk police officers with a video camera, filming everything they did. We know where Obama stood in relationship to the thin blue line.

And you voted for a president that described himself as a sexual predator. So we can now ascribe any rise in sexual assaults to Trump. Check.
