Jailed Russian says he hacked DNC on Kremlin’s orders and can prove it

He's been mouthing off about the metadata being destroyed for so long, he has no idea that months ago everyone knew that CrowdStrike asked the DNC to duplicate its servers. If this guy is telling the truth, and a dat file exists with his information on it, the defense has to become that:

1. The DNC worked with CrowdStrike to create replicas which would have the information of a Russian hacker (if the information in fact exists in the replica servers).
2. That this hacker would provide the DNC with all of his personal travel information just in case he was apprehended months, maybe years later in Russia.
3. Once apprehended this hacker would depend on the DNC to find this information to clear his innocence and then... prove that he committed what is a crime in both Russia and the US.

In short, there is no win to this guy coming forward. If he is telling the truth, he will be prosecuted in either Russia or the US. If he is telling a lie, he is prosecuted in Russia.

According to every poll I've seen, the electorate is sick and tired of Trump.

Sounds good to me. It makes as much sense as the one about Obama being born in Kenya, so it's bound to be a hit in Republican circles.

Or just lost in Siberia. Putin's got a good thing going with Trump's inconsistencies, his inability to stand by a personal conviction, and eagerness to be liked.

Yeah, it's kind of nutty. I don't know if this guy is telling the truth, but at this point, it's pretty obvious that Trump's kids - at the very least - and everyone within 2 degrees of Trump has some connection to Russian oligarchs or 3rd world dictators.

I remember when the GOP made a big stink about the 5th cousin of someone who met Obama once was a terrorist. Now, they're all quiet as we have e-mails exchanged between Trump family members and Russians looking to hack the DNC.

It's textbook clapback. Let them have it for a bit.

Apparently the same problem you have with Russia gaining access to the DNC computers. To me neither are relevant as no votes were changed regardless of the charges
 
This guy is jailed for treason in Russia, but managed to get an interview with the media? Heh. I'm sure this is all on the up and up.

I just don't get jmotivator's reasoning. He's doing it to save his own skin! Right, from who? The same guy running the country where you can be sent to prison just for telling kids that homosexuality is normal? The same guy that sends out killers to poison the soup of overseas critics? The same place where 3-4 dozen journalists have been murdered since Putin took power 17 years ago?

There is no net benefit to speaking out in a way Putin disapproves of in Russia. Telling the whole world that it was the Kremlin that ordered the hacking of an American party for the benefit of another? Ya, I'm sure that just saved him a seat right next to Vladimir at the next Putin family BBQ.

And back and forth we go. First, you claim that no collusion happened, then you admit that if it did, it's irrelevant because votes weren't changed. Kind of great that charges of treason aren't dependent on votes being changed.

The entire witch hunt is a joke and waste of time diverting from reality of what is actually happening and how irrelevant that issue of Russian involvement is. Treason? You claimed that no collusion happened. Then you point out that even if this happened, it is irrelevant because votes weren't changed. All of the ad homs in your post are pretty indicative of how much ruffled your feathers are. Do you think charges of treason are contingent on your selective analysis of a 102 month old bull market?

I also have said over and over again that no collusion took place, no laws violated, and this is nothing more than a witch hunt to distract from the results being generated. that is reality. What illegal activity took place and be specific?

Who cares if the DNC servers were hacked? The DNC is a private organization and the FBI couldn't even be bothered to investigate the servers themselves.

I can't believe people care more about the DNC servers being hacked then the Chinese government stealing over 50 million personnel files about government employees. SMH, this is embarrassing for liberals everywhere.

A guy in a Russia jail says he hacked on Putin's orders and can prove it.
As an American don't you want to know what else was done and why to our election?
