China hands down harshest sentence yet in crackdown on activists

No...you're being insulting.

Ya see, if you weren't being blatantly insulting, you would post factual information to prove that you're better educated and more knowledgable. But, you didn't do that. You flung an insult and just expect everyone to take your word for it. Why? Because you're unable to post factual information that proves that you're better educated and more knowledgable.

Therein lies the problem with the Left. You all are convinced of your own superiority and everyone else should accept it and shutup. That causes two problems for you: 1) it alienates people you're trying to sell your brand to and 2) it inhibits your ability to learn. The latter being the more catastrophic of the two.

When will you learn that China is not a Communist country?

Nice gaslighting. In case your memory is failing you, it's the current President and his party that's enjoying a love fest with authoritarians around the world.

How is Rocket Man doing right now?

I'll bet the Ukraine appreciates the weapons to hold off Russia?

The Castro's don't appreciate the tourism loss from Trump's revocation either.

The UN's a little short on cash for 2018............can you help out?

Got anymore falsehoods to spew?

Obama was awful anxious to get chummy with Iran and Cuba. That's different, huh?

Speaking of Rocket Man...

“People are saying, ‘Is he sane?’ I have no idea,” Trump said. “I can tell you this, and a lot of people don’t like when I say it, but he was a young man of 26 or 27 when he took over from his father.…A lot of people, I’m sure, tried to take that power away, whether it was his uncle or anybody else. And he was able to do it. So obviously, he’s a pretty smart cookie.”

"According to the Communist Party USA’s “constitution,” they are a party “of and for the U.S working class” that believes abolishing capitalism and instituting a “socialist reorganization of society” will solve just about everything—“exploitation of human beings by others, the evils of oppression, war, racism, environmental degradation, and poverty.” The constitution goes on to state that the party “fights for jobs and economic security, a decent and rising standard of living, peace, justice, equality, a sustainable environment, gay rights, health care, education, affordable housing, the needs of seniors, democracy, and a fulfilling life for everyone, with socialism as our goal.” In short, they want it all. And the Party believes that by giving government control of major industries, redistributing wealth, and by keeping all citizens at the same level of mediocrity for the sake of fairness, this idealistic utopia can be attained."

It sounds like something you pulled off a blog from 2012, written by somebody I've never heard of. Apparently you find college-age bloggers nobody's ever heard of more concerning than the sitting President's pattern of admiration for authoritarians around the world.

President Trump is in office, now. The move is on to change that.

And with a total doofus like Trump, an impeachment/resignation is highly likely.

Gotta love that big government!

Because it always gets smaller with a Republican administration? Which reality do you live in and what's the weather like there?

I would have to go through the report again and disaggregate the index to do a critic. But I don't think I would put as much store in that index, if I should be honest.

I think you want critique and it sounds like you just desperately don't want it to be true. Such is the brainwashed mind. Uncomfortable truths cause great cognitive dissonance.

But it's in a RW blog! It must be true!

Yeah, that's why we need to get rid of the establishment Republicans.

Oh yes. Always has been. Why are you attempting to deflect away from the fact your homeboy Trump likes fascist dictators?

The USA has always loved, supported and installed fascist dictators. And there was much that Hitler admired about the USA and took it into his plans.

I'll bet the Ukraine appreciates the weapons to hold off Russia?

So much for the bull**** that Russia overthrew the government of Ukraine.

The Castro's don't appreciate the tourism loss from Trump's revocation either.

The UNGA has condemned USA terrorism against Cuba for the last quarter century. Same ole same ole, the USA, the biggest terrorist group/"nation" on the planet.

The UN's a little short on cash for 2018............can you help out?

The UN is always short on cash because the USA is always delinquent on its payments.

Yeah, that's why we need to get rid of the establishment Republicans.

Yup, that just what Trump promised the dolts who voted for him. Telling that even now, you don't know you been took!!

Draining the swamp — of brainpower: Trump’s corrupt administration is fueled by anti-intellectualism

Trump got elected by attacking “elites.” But he didn’t mean rich people — only those with education and expertise

...

Though many saw right through Trump’s rhetoric, it became clear just how farcical his promise to “drain the swamp” was when he began assembling his cabinet shortly after winning the election. The president-elect managed not only to put together the richest and most unqualified cabinet in history, but also filled his administration with many of the revolving-door insiders he had regularly lambasted on the campaign trail. While candidate Trump frequently called out Clinton (and other political opponents) for her connections to Goldman Sachs, for example, President Trump has created a “Government Sachs” of his own, employing five veterans from the infamous investment bank as top advisors, including Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

And yet the US is the only country with the freedom of speech

You don't really believe that crap, do you?

You seem like a nice UN team player.

Good for you.

The USA has carried the UN for how long?

The US doesn't decide to pay the largest amount. The USA has not carried the UN for anything. It, like every other country is assessed on the same factors. The US pays the largest sum because the US has stolen so much wealth from the world that it is, de facto, the richest country.

Were we still back in the days before the US became a "country", the marauding Brits would be paying the most.

Yup, that just what Trump promised the dolts who voted for him. Telling that even now, you don't know you been took!!

He's gittin'er done, too.

Name calling noted.

One has to wonder with hard core leftest admiration of communism, if they would also like these sorts of things that come with it.

No, what one has to wonder at is that immensity of the delusion that one would have to convince oneself of to every assert that China is in any way communist.

Words have meanings.
