Trump could shoot US Congressmen & US Senators in the middle of Fifth Avenue & never lose any votes ..................

Republicans always struck me as more of the checkers type.

Yes, because Pelosi, Hillary, and Biden just ooze the mental capacity to understand the Calabrian Countergambit.

I'll put my money on Gowdy, Cruz, and Paul, thank you.

When your safe space is violated by an out-of-power adviser and your thread fails, just whatabbout Clinton. Works every time.

Checkmated? Not sure you understand what that means. That means the end of the game. Winning an election is not checkmate.

The election, Gorsuch, the travel ban, net neutrality, Anwr, the Keystone pipeline, DACA, EPA pullbacks, the Paris accords, decertifying the Iran deal, Jerusalem, the ACA mandate, and now this tax cut bill.

It's been a rough year for the left. This fabricated dossier nonsense provides little coping relief.

None of that mentions Clinton.

You hijacked your own thread by whatabouting Clinton in post 9.

.... if they were the spineless fools fawning over him yesterday....yes, and he might even get my vote.

Though a bit too conservative for my taste, Gorsuch was a good choice. At least he is competent, unlike most of the people that work for Trump (and Trump himself). So one point for Trump.

Most of his other "accomplishments" set US interests back a decade ( testaments to the statement I made above)..... so -1 points for each of them.

What it is is the pervasive negativity that too many Dems. just can't stop engaging in. When will these people figure out that people are tired of the "anti-" approach??

Have you never been in a locker room?

All good for the GOP, no question about it. But it's not like GOP wins, Democrats lose, game over or anything.

What are the "most of his other accomplishments" that set the US interests back a decade?

The pendulum will always swing.

However, 2018 is a problem for Dems now. "Vote for us, and we'll make your CEO suffer by eliminating your tax breaks." Good luck with that.

Not in one where millions are watching and listening.

Twitter will be the ruin of many people

You must not have ever been on a college varsity team. In a locker room, many people can hear what's being said, and laughs are shared by all.

No, I wasn't much into sports. What does a locker room have to do with this anyway?

Almost everything ERod listed in post #11. In particular the tax cuts, declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel, decertifying the Iran sanctions, decertifying the Iran deal, being the only nation in the world not a party to the Paris accords (the last three all examples of America being rogue nation), EPA pullbacks. All examples of ignorance and arrogance (a lethal combination) at work in the White House.
