Dem senator bashes Trump judicial nominee over hearing testimony: 'Hoo-boy'

Senate Republicans on Thursday confirmed President Donald Trump's twelfth federal appeals court nominee, setting a record for the most circuit court picks confirmed in a president's first year.

Why this matters: The federal courts carry significant weight in almost every area of policy: gun rights, executive power, LGBT rights, freedom of religion, etc, and have blocked multiple Trump initiatives in his first year. Trump's picks of young, conservatives judges for the lifetime appointments will far outlast his presidency.

Congrats on the block lefties but Trump is still cleaning your clocks. Oh and before you guys start whining too much about him ram rodding them through and unskewing the leftist courts you can thank Reed for changing the rules when he controlled the Senate. You guys overplayed your hand and now it's biting you all in your asses.

What unfilled work needs to be done by the Ambassador to Cabo Verde? What about the key, essential job functions that are not being completed because there's no ambassador to Malta? Let's leave the ambassadorships out of it then...

There are approximatelyy 550 unfilled appointments. Which ones are causing a nationwide productivity slowdown because they're not pushing around paper and pencils?

What's really amazing is he did this while watching all that TV and playing golf. He musta been nominating them during commercials. It's understandable how 3 out of 15 might not of made it through.
