Direct from the horse's mouth. Amazing the guy who says the best things about Trump is the guy who was there the least amount of time. That's Anthony Scaramucci!!!!:lamo All these people can't be wrong. Looks like she signed an NDA.

There "were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with,” she said.

"But when I have my story to tell as the only African-American woman in this White House; as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people. And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear," Manigault added.

She is an opportunist. From what I understand she has no standing within the power centers of African American organizations.
Now with a book - or interviews with media coming, she will attempt to portray herself a selfless person, who deeply cared about the African American community and tried to influence policy decisions.

I would gander a guess, she will lie more often then tell the truth.
If she does tear up during an interview, those would be crocodile tears.

You hit the nail on the head. Nothing she says is reliable in any way.
I still don't know why he picked her. Given how manipulative she has been in the past.

Trump picks all the best people according to Trump.

Yeah, I'm not buying it either.

Oh, fear not, this is the prep for a $ 36.95 tell all book!

I watched that season of the Apprentice, she crazy.
If you've ever met one of these types, they are destined to be a problem, I knew it (and he probably did too) the second they put her in the White House that it would end in crazy.

That they had to take her out physically, that she went back in and set of alarms, that sounds exactly like you'd expect her to behave.

I agree, this is 100% opportunism, she loves the glitz and power, but she's got neither the temperament nor the credentials to be worth anyone's time. Trump put her in for being African-American no doubt. She's basically just saying "Someone make me a great book deal please".

Now, to the point that she probably knows some crazy **** that went on the white house...that's probably obvious, I mean, you'd have to be an idiot to think that White House is not a flying circus. If it's a circus in the public eye, what do you think goes on in private? How much weight will it carry if crazy is the one who relays that info? I suppose it depends on how juicy and if it can be verified.

I think it depends more on what she talks about, clearly she will talk. If it's about the processes of her job priorities and how she wasn't able to get anything done, well... However if there's stuff to say about the way Trump treated her, or belittled her in her position, or god forbid sexual assault against her. She should be believed. There's a reason so many people leave Trump.

Before Trump was sworn in a couple of Trumpsters I know swore up and down that we shouldn't worry about Trump's lack or experience or his 'temperament' and personality because he was going to surround himself in the WH with good, smart people.

I'm still waiting for that to happen.

Mattis seems like the one token "actually competent and not entirely a monster" guy in there, and even that was purely by accident. (Mattis was totally a "hey this guy seems popular on facebook and talks tough" hire)

I would not put much stock in what the woman says. She is a fame whore, seeks attention, and is more than likely looking for a book deal. She is an on the record liar. Like her ex boss.

I would suggest you read up on the history of Omarosa.

I had to read up on her history when this story broke yesterday since I didn't know her at all. I was shocked by what I read. She's a known lunatic, liar, fraud and maniac. So why did Trump hire her? He knew her very well, and didn't have to read about her on the internet like everyone else did.

I thought he was only going to hire the best people.

Yeah, they will have trouble keeping her quiet.

Her narcissism is right up there with The Donald's.

I'm sure she's been "compensated handsomely" but since she attempted to go back in and re-negotiate...and was rebuffed...seems like she wasnt satisfied.

When you're Trump, continuously accused of being a sexist racist bigot, you need to hire on a black female as one of your closest confidants.
Trump helped make Omarosa. Pretty sure he figured he could control her. He probably did too. Probably still is.
All this is "reality show theatrics".

It's just unfortunate that it's also happening inside the White House at the same time.

Despite being a lunatic, she was one of his earliest and most fervent backers. She was awarded with the highest salary someone could get while doing as little damage as possible. She essentially books Trump's visits for outreach to Black communities. So basically she makes travel arrangements for Trump which only requires her to do the job once every 3-4 months. She's a glorified scheduler. And it's not that she was incompetent at scheduling. She was fired because she thought her influence actually exceeded her job and was constantly demanding access to Trump. This doesn't look bad for Trump. He gave her a shot and she bungled the internal politics.

Of course it doesn't look bad for Trump. He has a halo around his head, doesn't he?

Too bad the President isn't astute enough to know who he's hiring, but considering who he is, it isn't at all surprising.

That's my impression as well, and she knew what she was doing all along anyway, which was giving cover to someone like Trump - acting as his little "black woman" shield. So she sold her integrity to get a man with none elected, then claims to be shocked that the man she helped elect has no integrity. I can't get my 'empathy' meter to budge and couldn't care less what she has to say about anything at this point.

This quote says it all for me: "I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people."

Oh, really, the POTUS who was openly playing footsie with white nationalists starting with his announcement that he's running might have surrounded himself with people who sympathize with white nationalists, if not outright white supremacists? No kidding, lady. And you helped elect him, knowing this, so I expect the common reaction from blacks would be something along the order of "F you."
