And the same about montanas and Georgians! Eventually you're going to have to figure out why people keep voting for Republicans over Dems, even when there's a scumbag like Roy Moore.

Here's a hint: during this entire situation I don't think I've ever heard anyone do a comparison and contrast between Moore/Jones policy positions. maybe you should've started there because Moore brought literally nothing to the table policy-wise. Instead the media focused on this culture war bull**** that nobody gives a damn about.

Speaks volumes about the Left's agenda and it's ability to sell that agenda. The Liberals are so ****ed up they can't even beat a "pervert".

Pro tip: insulting everyone that disagrees with them is a losing strategy. At some point the Liberals have to step back and ask, "what are we doing wrong?".

Yep I pretty much set the exact same thing. And the great thing is by the Liberals are doing their darndest to insult moderates, independents, and libertarians. Those insults just drive potential allies to Republicans out of spite. Good times.

I grew-up in an area of tribal/racist neighborhoods in an extremely large northern city.

These working-class neighborhoods were not just racist, but they were also European (and other) tribal. Irish warring with Italians, Poles warring with Latinos, everyone warring with Blacks, and Asians staying in their own little section trying to stay out of it all!

(the Asians finally aligned with the Italians, because they shared the same penchant for establishing social structures acting as local alternative forms of governance, including those unlawful or criminal in nature)

Having fully immersed in this environment, and acting socially and politically within it, I never underestimate tribalism. Never.

Maybe, maybe not. Either way, The Dems can win elections without winning independents. Obama proved that in 2012. The Republicans, on the other hand, can only win elections when the Democrats don't come out and vote (see 2010, 2014, and 2016). With how energized the Democrats are against Trump...I could see a repeat of 2008 all over again, assuming Trump is even president in 2020,

Yeah, I keep saying Democrats, but what folks in Alabama hate is liberals. They hated liberals back when the GOP had liberals, and they hate liberals now that they are Democrats.

"I can relate better to a perv, than I can a Dem"

I'm of the opinion that if democrats were to relax their worship of Abortion, Doug Jones would be in a landslide victory. Whether you like it or not, voters in the south LITERALLY see abortion as murder. You may hate it, you may do whatever....but it is undeniable that voters believe abortion is killing babies, then it's REALLY hard run against ANY candidate when people think you kill babies. Just saying. The voters sure aren't going to change their minds, the democrat party is going to have to.

I suspect the only thing they hate worse than a liberal, might be an atheist.

From what I'm seeing as the media interviews people in the street, it seems if you want their votes you better be carrying a Bible and showing-up on Sunday.
