Democrat introduces resolution for official investigation into Trump harassment

You guys wanted a President who would be utterly dismissive of social morés and the law as a "screw you" to everybody else. Well, you got him, and multiple investigations are the consequences.

Coming from people that nominated Hillary clinton this is laughable.

If you believed that a guy with as much baggage as Trump wasn't going to face problems after election "because Clinton," you were misinformed.

Not to mention law suits.
Trump loves litigation a is probably gritty that we have to pick up the tab for it.

I don't doubt this is politics, and that if Democrats weren't gearing up for this, they would have tried to salvage Franken instead of sacrifice him. That being said, while the motives may not have been exactly pure, I still support the motion. Democrats have held their own accountable, and have called for republicans to do the same. Those calls have been ignored, mocked, or spun. Republicans only seem interested in Democratic offenders, while doing everything they can to deflect and distract away from their own.

Even if you know it's all politics, you can't deny the corner Republicans have painted themselves into. It wouldn't be nearly so bad without Moore in the picture, even if he wins today it'll come at a steep price. Should be a good show if it happens, I imagine the Twittersphere will tremble, if it isn't already.

What, once in that last hundred years, and now suddenly that makes them noble? How about Teddy Kennedy and Bill Clinton and likely others that got through with little more than a scratch?

You mean Obama, the same guy who had a dossier forged so that he could use the FBI to wiretap his political opponents?

Nope, so far, he doesn't appear to have any public sexual harassment accusers. But stay tuned, because as we know now, EVERYBODY is guilty of sexual harassment.

Wow you are really uneducated about that dossier and where it came from aren't you...

Republicans are an amazingly hypocritical bunch, aren't they?

They CHEERED these kind of investigations for 8 years, then they elect someone who's 50 times nastier than Obama ever was, and who has a ton more baggage, but now they are SHOCKED, I tell you SHOCKED that the Dems want to play the same games the GOP played for 8 years.

You guys love this in you face politics, now suck it up and deal with it.

Person on the right accused --> accusers are liars! Vast librul conspiracy!

Person on the left accused --> disgusting rapist! The left loves sex crimes! rabble rabble rabble!

/snore

Strange that people think that old routine fools anyone.

Nail...head...hit. I can hardly wait for all of the "LYING LIBRUL SLUTS!" defensive commentary from the Trump crowd.

If you believed that a guy with as much baggage as Trump wasn't going to face problems after election "because Clinton," you were misinformed.

Your attempting to build some imaginative morale high ground based in the choice of someone for president.
The fact that you completely and 100% ignore the unethical and most corrupt women ever in politics makes your argument moot.
Who was nominated by your party.

I'm going to take a page from the Democrats playbook when it comes to Bill Clinton: I'll wait 20 years and THEN suddenly realize Trump should have been impeached.

see you in 2037!!! till then, Trump stays.

These women came out during the campaign, and were threatened with a court case. They, and their financiers vanished.

Let them try again... ROTFLOL.

You folks defended a perjurer and his criminal wife for decades... and look at all the Democrats caught up in this... and you speak about social mores?

This is political... obviously... and that’s OK. You folks, like the cartoon characters you are, keep eagerly grabbing for and smoking those exploding cigars.

PS. Democrats helped get Trump elected. Republicans only represent 25% of the population, and we had that group called NeverTrumpers.

We thank the Democrats for their support.

Trump stays until 2037? You apparently don't know the constitution very well.

If you believed Clinton was blanket immunity for Trump in perpetuity, you were misinformed. Next time you want a Republican President to not be under multiple investigations, I suggest you choose a guy with a little better judgment than, "Boy this guy is sure to piss everybody off." Instead, you went with the candidate with as much baggage as humanly possible and...surprise! He turned out to be an awful human being and now he's under constant investigation!

What, once in that last hundred years, and now suddenly that makes them noble? How about Teddy Kennedy and Bill Clinton and likely others that got through with little more than a scratch?

Now hold on...so is it okay sexually harass women if somebody you don't like did it first?

I think it's a problem that knows no political allegiance. The President actually bragged about it. But that is completely lost on people because you know, he was just engaging in locker room talk, and then said it wasn't his voice on the tape. But somehow these women are all liars being paid by Soros to bring Trump down.

If Trump did this he should resign, but he won't. I don't see how Congress can do anything about it, anyway. The guy is awful, but we already know that. He is classless, again no secret. Why waste tax payer money to confirm his lecherous behavior, that occurred before he was elected? It will literally change nothing. His defenders will say the women are liars, his accusers will yell that he is a sexually offensive asshole, and that's the ball game.

What, once in that last hundred years, and now suddenly that makes them noble? How about Teddy Kennedy and Bill Clinton and likely others that got through with little more than a scratch?

I never said anyone was noble, in fact I even suggested this was all politically motivated. I said Democrats have put a spotlight on Republican hypocrisy, and that Republicans have no good answer. If they hadn't pushed Moore so hard, they might have been able to ignore it and brush it off. The optics are about as bad as they get for Republicans here.

Wow you are really uneducated about that dossier and where it came from aren't you...

Nope, you're the one in denial. It blew up in your face.

You mean like everyone realized 20 years after the fact that Clinton should have been impeached? Too bad they didn't know it back when he was President. Then they could have actually impeached him.

That's the trouble with this country, it's all about optics now. Symbolism over substance, the motto of the Democratic Party.

Your wait has ended.
I heard that after Megyn Kelly did her thing with 3 accusers there was a press availability staged by Brave New Films which is funded by ... guess who.

Gee. Payback is such a bitch!

All those hours of investigation involving millions sent into "BENGHAZI, BENGHAZI, BENGHAZI and you're whining because the democrats are looking to probe possible criminal behavior of your president.

Now that takes some kind of arrogance.

Where is the "if she had nothing to hide she can't complain"? that was thrown at Hilary for four years? What's Trump hiding?

The tables have turned and it's your guy under scrutiny and you do what? Whine about a vast left wing conspiracy.

We have tape recordings of Trump boasting of his sexual assaults, and another of Trump on the ever conservative Howard Stern show again bragging that could go backstage while "the girls" are getting dressed because he "owned" the pageant". We have sworn testimony from contestants in that pageant and a White House mostly known for lying, passing off bull**** the usually easily refuted claims.

To date, Trump has refused to confront these charges, as did Clinton with everything they threw at her. In fact he's still campaigning; every appearance he makes is a series of attacks on various enemies usually ending with "lock her up."

So, on the one hand the right want to deny an American their right to a trial, continue harassment even after he has left public office and an encouragement to ignore the legal process, while on the other hand whining about the fact someone wants to look!

So let's agree that the moral high ground is so far beyond your reach you can't even see it, let along know right from wrong. All that matters is that "they" get theirs.

Great. Again.

Why do you have such a bad habit of saying stuff that isn't true all the time?

Office of the Clerk
Current Vacancies

Right there. The very first thing you read.

Office of the Thirteenth Congressional District of Michigan
Formerly the Office of Representative John Conyers Jr.

Remarkably, you know whose not there. Trent Franks.

Didn't I just say Conyers is retiring?

I think it’s time for Sessions to appoint a Special Investigator to look into all members of Congress as to sexual impropriety.

Cory Booker, the Democrat darling just copped to sexual assault:

https://thepoliticalinsider.com/senator-cory-booker-assault-women/

I’m quite disappointed to hear that, but it is within the current timeframe of sociopolitical relevance.

Copped to sexual assault?

The column goes on to describe Booker on New Year’s Eve in 1984 where he grabbed a friend’s breast on a bed without her permission. Booker, who was 15-years-old at the time, said, “I remember debating my next ‘move’ as if it were a chess game.” Whoa!

It obviously does work.

Wow. Can we see some evidence that Obama had a dossier forged so that he could use the FBI to wiretap his political opponents? Thanks in advance.

LOL, as if this wasn't telegraphed from a million miles away.

Democrats are so easy to see through. It's like playing Old Maid with an 5-year-old who pushes the Maid card up so you'll choose it.

So?

It's no more and no less than what you guys poured at Hillary for 20 years. How mccu money was spent on how many probes and congressional hearings and you found what?

Payback is a bitch. Stop whining and acting like Hillary

Everything about Hillary was true, not the least of which was enabling her rapist of a husband.
