Vandal who left bacon inside mosque gets 15 years in prison

Another Zimmer FAIL thread....

Not really. It got the desired effect and gave a platform for the Muslim haters not actually interested in the OP story to come in and start sharing their anti-muslim agenda by jumping on the personal comments in the OP.

Haters gonna hate.

He should be punished for his crimes, but to see who is getting away with what in the Democrat Party; the rapists, the officials with security clearances who put our national security in jeopardy with toilet servers, mishandling beyond-Top Secret documents (Hillary), lying under oath (Clapper, Holder), traitors who get pardoned,... we witness a 2-tier justice system.

Once again, the guy should do time, but 15-years?

The bonus points for committing a “hate-crime” is absurd.

What’s wrong with bacon? Is bacon evil? Is bacon satanic? Perhaps he was shopping, needed bacon for his morning eggs, and in his moment of dementia forgot said bacon in Mosque. For that he gets bonus points?

Hmmmm? Are Muslims allowed to smell bacon? It’s a form of absorption into their bodies? Will bacon soon be outlawed?

I have Muslim friends and they eat schnitzel, pork salami on pizzas... it doesn’t bother them. If someone left bacon behind in their Mosque, they’d likely take it home and fry it up.

Hmmmmm....

To think that an idiot like this should get a more severe punishment than the VW manager yesterday (7 years) that systematically sold cars, whose exhaust of a deadly gas was a multiple of that allowed for reasons of profit?

I mean, the VW fellow and his Wolfsburg bosses killed people in a multi billion Dollar fraud. Who cares about a "hate crime"? I mean, it was only a couple of Dollars and a piece of bacon.

Including Democrats = Putting the 2-tier legal system in perspective.

I realize it’s not the way you’d like to start your day, facing the utter hypocrisy of your party, and the perversions of the legal system... but hey... I’m not here to hold your hand so you can make it through the day.

I saw no hypocrisy. All I saw was someone trolling their own thread by presenting something that had nothing to do with the topic. That's nothing more than obsessive partisan hackery, which is a good descriptor of how you post.

Of course I know pork is “haram”. I have Turk, Bulgarian and Kurd friends who are Muslim. They eat pork and drink beer. I told them, and they laughed... that they’re my kind of Muslims. Great guys.

I did say the guy should be punished for vandalism, whether it be a Christian or Muslim house of worship. I guess you missed that. I believe it was the first line.

I think the vandalism was the exclamation mark... that he left bacon... oh well. Adding insult to injury... but not a enhancer of any criminal sentence.

I didn't say that you claimed he shouldn't be punished, but you did minimize. And just because you have Muslim friends who didn't find it offensive to leave bacon there doesn't alter the intent.

I do wonder though, if Muslims breathe in the fumes of frying bacon, is it Haram?

Will we soon be facing laws in Western Civilzation against the cooking of bacon, and discharging its fumes in public because of Muslim sensitivities?

You can laugh now, but 20-years ago the thought of gay-marriage was laughable too.

I find gay marriage laughable now. I'm glad they are now suffering like the rest of us. So are matrimonial attorneys.

Jews long ago determined pork is not kosher. Jews never asked for any laws demanding second hand pork fumes be outlawed. In fact I personally know Jews who traditionally order out Chinese food on Christmas day, including spare ribs in the order.

A Catholic Priest and a Rabbi were lifelong friends. They decided to enjoy a vacation together. While sitting on the plane heading toward their destination, the two enjoyed one of their usual deep conversations. Suddenly the Priest turned to the Rabbi, "Rabbi, can I ask you a personal question?" "Of course," replied the Rabbi, "after all these years what do we have to hide from each other?" The Priest then queried "Rabbi, I know pork is forbidden, but have you ever tasted it?" The Rabbi looked at the Priest and said "When I was very young, I was curious and I sinned." "How was it?" asked the Priest. "Best bar-be-que I ever tasted" responded the Rabbi.

They sat quietly for a moment, then the Rabbi turned to the Priest asking "Father, can I ask you a personal question?" "Of course," replied the Priest, "after all these years what do we have to hide from each other?" The Rabbi responded and asked "I know it is forbidden, but have you ever slept with a woman?" The Priest was quietly contemplative for a moment and then said "When I was younger, before I took my vows, before I was ordained, I too was curious and sinned."

The Rabbi looked the Priest in the eyes and asked "Much better than pork, hey?"
