A top prosecutor who is now a deputy for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe praised outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she was fired in January by President Trump for refusing to defend his controversial travel ban.


The email, obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, shows that on the night of Jan. 30, Andrew Weissmann wrote to Yates under the subject line, “I am so proud.”


He continued, “And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects.”

It seems you have difficulty keeping your thoughts straight. First Moore, now Hillary... all unrelated to this OP.

When I invoke Hillary or Bill or whoever... there’s always a relation to the thread at hand. You have two strikes in a row.

You should recall her testimony during her confirmation hearings, and I believe the hard question asked by Jeff Sessions and what she would do. Well it did rise up, and she did as she testified she would.

I am sure after the convictions roll out you can always visit them in prison and tell them they are innocent. I am sure they will appreciate the support.

I'm proud of Yates too -- she did the right and ethical thing. Being unbiased doesn't mean taking one's moral compass and smashing it with a hammer like trump supporters have done. Trump supporters, naturally, want Mueller's team to be filled with lizard people with the morality to match.

Yates did the wrong thing according to the SCOTUS.

But, her behavior did expose a rat in Skippy Mueller’s Kangaroo Court assemblage. For that, she did the nation a favor.

It's ok. I'm being accused that I back Moore, too. They're mad because this investigation, more or less, is being made public that it's politically motivated, and that this farce could possibly face being dismantled altogether. Thus, they're crusade (the result of their temper tantrum after they lost last year) in getting Trump out of office and making Hillary president will be rendered ineffective.

Obama enacts a sort of travel ban. That was OK.
Trump continues the travel ban. That's not OK.
Obama wanted to protect the American people.
Trump is a racist pig.

Every day I wake up... Hillary is not president. :)

The bonus is Democrats have lost their minds trying to overturn the results of the election, and it’s not going to endear them to a lot of people who wondered if the left is as truly sick as others made them out to be.

Now these people know. The dementia is there to see daily. In the press and that party... both the same.

When you start looking into the backgrounds of the people on Mueller's team, and how they have been connected and maybe are connected now, it sure looks that way. If this was the other way around and Hillary was being investigated by an anti-Hillary group who had all heavily donated to and helped and supported the Republicans, the Democrats would be screaming foul to high heaven. And so would I even though I believe Hillary is far more guilty than anything that might be laid on Trump.

Exactly. They freaked when Trump said he wouldn't accept the election results if he didn't win (the media was already rigging the election through their polls and the way they were reporting on Trump and Hillary), but as soon as Hillary lost "TRUMP CHEATED! TRUMP CHEATED! HE HAD RUSSIA CHANGE THE ELECTION OUTCOME! A DOSSIER REVEALED THAT HE MADE THE DEAL! HE USED ONE OF HIS BANKS! HE TOLD FLYNN TO LIE AND TALK TO THE RUSSIANS TO RIG THE ELECTION! CHEATER, CHEATER, CHEATER!!!" And that's basically the reaction that we're getting today, and they're trying to convince others of these lies they made. But I'm with you: I'm just happy Hillary isn't President.
