Moore stands accused of the same, but by a 14 year old. Conyers is resigning, because of the accusations. Moore was endorsed by Trump, after the accusations.
Now, class, can anyone tell me the moral of this story?

Sure, he was an icon - but like all other icons, he's human...and subject to doing that which is flat wrong (see Thomas Jefferson). The difference is that in the modern day, we can at least publicly shame those who have done so, even if the statute of limitations has run out.
Of course, that's only for liberals and Democrats...because we all know how any woman who dares accuse a Republican or a conservative must be lying, 'cause Trump and Roy Moore would never, ever do such a thing!
