I guess I could take a tried and true conservative approach and say, "If you've got nothing to hide then you got nothing to worry about". I think that's the whole schpiel cons gave the left when Bush and the GOP were passing the Patriot Act.

When Trump refused to release his tax returns, he sort of implied there was something to hide in his financial records. Even his most loyal can't help but realize there really might be something there to find, Russia related or not. It would explain the hysteria. After talking all that smack, can you imagine trying to face the world if Trump is proven dirty?

Let's see... a real estate mogul in New York City with mob ties while russia has been searching high and low to launder insane amounts of money around the world primarily through real estate deals. What could possibly go wrong?

I guess you were asleep during the Whitewater investigation of Clinton. Oh, they found nothing chargeable.

This is different. Already there has been indictments and one guilty plea. It's kind of hard to STILL claim that there is nothing there when the results show otherwise.
