Yep and 1.5 million more in debt, I'm glad though that conservatives have been shown to be the piece of **** hypocrites we always said they were. You don't care about the debt at all as long a a Republican is in charge.

"What if" you read before you started to type? You are the only person in the thread that mentioned legislation other than other people pointing out that you are the only person mentioning legislation.

This was so ridiculous. These were very reasonable requirements for a very real problem.

Beautiful dogs. I have a whole book on this breed.

My next dog will be an Akita. Only downside is they tend to be one-person dogs and they can be unpredictable with kids sometimes. Great guard dog though. You might get inside the house, but you're not getting out

I have had this one for 7 years. We got him when he was 5 years old. He is the best dog I have ever had. You are right that they are one person dogs. Ours loves my wife but he definitely is my dog. He doesn't like being away from me. If I go out to the shop he lays in front of the door until I come back in.

They aren't really good guard dogs. They are great at protection. Ours doesn't bark very often. When he does bark it's because he wants me to hurry up. When you get yours be real careful about their temperament. We are lucky. Ours has great temperament but some don't. We will be lucky if ours makes it through the winter. He's a pretty old dog with some health problems. On the bolded, you sure got that right.

This from a guy who said he’d cut it in half.

The same guy that claimed... “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”... 25 times. The same guy that claimed families would only pay $2500 annually... but costs tripled, and deductibles are so high, it’s like you have no coverage.

It is? I thought they only needed 90 days for this ban in order to implement the "extreme vetting"? It's been 10 months, so they shouldn't even need the ban anymore since they have the extreme vetting.

Do we have some sort of details on what the extreme vetting entails, by the way? I ask that sincerely, because I've never seen what it is versus what it was.

I wish the ban included countries which produced people that actually attacked us on our soil, like Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Instead it was limited to countries that I don't recall ever attacking us or being the last stop for people who attacked us here. Maybe I missed something.

I think the SCOTUS will rule on the side of Trump. The arguments that the judges used to come up with the injunctions/blocks were not based on law as much as their personal reasoning.

So when you’re proven wrong will you leave the country? Nope because you never put your money where your mouth is. Conservatism is ****ing over others and then never taking responsibility for it. Cons for this plan are lower than scum.

So when trump increases the debt as he will what will you do then? Oh yeah you will praise him for it.

He's beautiful. My husband loves Akitas and has asked to adopt one. I told him we need to skinny our population of rescue dogs before we do that, but I'd consider it.

First "extreme vetting" has to be defined. The article I linked from CBS stated that they are using "enhanced vetting". I don't think there is a difference.

There are two more courts that still need hear cases. The SCOTUS stated that they expect those courts to issue rulings pretty quickly rather than sit on it. SCOTUS wants to deal with this pretty quick.

I am not a real fan of Saudi Arabia. I have no idea why not except that maybe it has to do with political backing and geographical access to bases in the region.

This is real good news as the ban was constitutional and am pleased to see the SC came to the same conclusion. And any other challenges still working their way through the system are now null and void.

Ours was a rescue. I love this guy. I have never had a more loyal dog.

Kinda cool, Supreme Court ruling on this and everything. I wonder if this will weigh in on the decisions in the court cases the 9th and 4th that haven't made it through the courts. I bet those cases are tossed also. Only two justices are in dissent. Seven ruled against the lower courts decisions.

My post did not take a lot of thought. IMO, most, maybe even all the posts in this thread so far have not taken a lot of thought. Very little about our POTUS reflects deep thinking. Most of us with an interest in the current SCOTUS already know to expect rulings with a Right lean. Nothing about this latest ruling surprised me.
