NRA Member Invited Trump To Kremlin On Behalf Of Putin, According To Report

Obama met with foreign leaders before the election. It wasn't illegal, then.

It depends upon what was discussed. As long as he did not undermine US policy (and had the courtesy to let the resident administration know about the meeting) it would not be illegal.

So what? Really? We have a leftest arm of our Justice system trying to unseat a duly elected President. That's called a coup in case you don't know...
No, that's called a "delusion" used to support one's fantasy.

Well....yeah. They've become a political arm of the Democratic party. They used the fraudulent dossier paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign to open an investigation into her political opponent. That is more evidence of collusion than the left can even dream about finding regarding Trump and Russia.

Oh look. The cult of Trump now hates the FBI as well as the military. Hmmm.......y'all are sounding more and more like the "radical left" every day.

The right only likes the military when it's an excuse for why we can't afford healthcare or a way to illegally remove freedoms from foreign citizens while trying to pretend there's a "coup" going on in america.

The irony is palpable. Military zealots who have approved dozens of real life coups trying to compare a federal investigation to one.

What "freedoms" did people have in Iraq or Afghanistan under Saddam and the Taliban that they don't have under the new leadership?

Would your concerns be as great if it was a PTA member or a church member? There is a difference between the actions of a single member of an organization and the official position of that organization.

The key here is not the organization that set it up. The key is that it was set up while Trump was still a candidate, and not the president.

Yeah the FBI was all over President Obama over that............Hardly...Your hero trump is going down in flames

Depends. If Trump met with Putin, and it was on a social basis, no foul. However, there would be trouble if the meeting was an attempt to undercut US foreign policy that was in place at that time.

The OP linked article used the word "tried" quite a bit. If the meeting(s?) with Trump actually happened then maybe the article would have used another word.

"tried" says everything we need to know about intent. If someone tries to rob a bank and fails, he's still guilty of trying.

Not so fast there. The fact that someone tried to get Trump into the bank shows no intent on Trump's part to enter the bank much less to rob it.

Oh look, a rabid Clinton supporter controlled her investigation.

There are plenty of people in the gov working to undermine the President. The right doesn’t do that. We are overt. We speak out publicly and attack the ideas. The left works behind the scenes, hides their agenda and attacks the individuals.

Oh look, a Trump cult supporter posts information from a very clearly pro Trump "mews source", thinks it qualifies as actual evidence in an attempt to attack the FBI. Gee I must have forgotten that y'all think the law only applies to people to the left of Pinochet.

Oh look, a Trump supporter spewing idiotic conspiracy theories because they can't handle the fact that Trump is an incompetent buffoon who has alienated everyone outside of the third of the country who'd vote for Adolf Hitler's corpse if it was running with a (R) next to its name.

Yes, you are overt in your hatred of the military and government. That's.....not a good thing.

Out of curiosity. How does this work with Former US Presidents? Is there any law on the books about that? Going to google....
