Sen. John McCain will support tax bill, boosting its chances of passing

435 representatives are going to vote and how many have read the 500+ page legislation which was kept secret until today? I'm pretty sure not many, if any. I say hang the lot of them, if they can't be bothered to do their jobs properly and fully read and debate such important money bills. When you're finished stringing up the 435, then another 100 giblets for the Senate membership might be an option too. Finally a few gallows for the executive branch and you'll be well on your way to real fiscal and tax code reform. I am of course speaking/writing metaphorically and would never consider lynching poor politicians for their malfeasance and malpractice, honest and for true. No matter how much we want to lash out, violence is never the answer, except when it is. History is odd that way. Perhaps I should knit some socks or take a nice long bath to relax?

While Obama was in office 60% to 70% of American when polled consistently said we were in economic hard time. Today we have the highest consumer confidence in 18 years.

By the way real GDP growth under Trump is .5% higher than it ever was under Obama.

Agreed. And the DNC needs to be impartial, which I am convinced they simply won't be. They torpedoed Bernie Sanders, which was was very disappointing.

However, if they continue to embrace a strategy of vilifying law enforcement in order to leverage racism to garner votes, I'll vote 3rd party again. Not that it matters in grand scheme, but I find that tactic low brow, dishonest, and repugnant.
 
Finally got enough spending in there for the RINO’s to get on board. As the traitor said, it is far from perfect now.

Yeah, I was a big Bernie supporter. I held my nose and voted for Hillary because I knew she would be better than Trump, if for no other reason than because she was more knowledgeable about how things worked in Washington, and wouldn't let her alligator mouth overload her jaybird ass.

2/ My Dad had the same exact brain cancer you have Senator McCain. It is a 14 month death sentence. You are six months into it. In about 2 months, your doctors will tell you .. they have done all they can and the dull ache will become a screaming massive headache.

3/ They will adjust your meds and try to make you comfortable .. there will be endless ambulance trips as you start to have frequent seizures. You will lose your sense of taste from the treatments. You will start to slur your words and repeat yourself endlessly.

Wow....I tell ya....Today's culture is really sick....I mean, I don't like McCain, but that is just twisted....I think that some people in here actually would be that way too if we didn't have moderation of the boards.

Consumer confidence, once again a trend that was set years before Trump took office.

As far as GDP growth, economists are pretty sure we are reaching growth capacity which means just as soon as the tax cut sugar high wears off, you will see something you will absolutely refuse to give Trump and the GOP credit for because it will not be good news.

Ya, the same economists who said the economy would tank if Trump elected.

It's very covenant that none of your charts show what has happened over the last 12 months, especially the current one. 18 year high means Consumer Confidence is higher than at any other point in the 21th century. In other words a total vertical line straight up.

Notice that when ABC gives a Fake News story that The President might be in actual trouble the DOW totally nose dives. When its clarified to be a nothing it shoots rite back up. The Dow has hit all time records 62 times since President Trump hit office.

Feel free to tell about the Obama policies that improved the economy.

There were none, what little upswing we did have was form the private sector business leaders figuring out way around Obama's destructive policies.

Low fuel prices were the biggest single cause of what little economic good news we has during the Obama years. The cheap gas was caused things Obama 100% opposed: Fracking, private lands oil drilling, and pipe lines like Keystone that Democrats were unable to block.

You are making the argument that Trump has CAUSED the current economy. The evidence clearly shows that the economy has been trending upward for years. So far all you can really argue is Trump being elected has a weak correlation to the economy trending upward. Correlation does not necessarily imply causation. Anecdotal evidence is not enough to prove causation.
