Tres and I have disagreed more times than I can count in the past, but at least those disagreements were rooted in policy and her principles clearly defined. She has held those principles since day one here, while trump supporters' principles simply track whatever trump says that day. If those "true colors" means adhering to traditional conservative values rather than blind allegiance to a cult of personality, then what you say is a compliment rather than an insult.

The claim is that Moore's accusations were invalid because they were from forty years ago, as if waiting to come forward with the accusations was a point against them. If the children who were molested by Moore waited forty years to come forward, why did Franken's accusers wait fourteen years?

Because men in power in those circles, especially on the left but on both sides, held innumerable power to squelch these stories. The media wouldn't even ask a question about Bill Clinton other than Lewinsky until they had to. These men like Franken and Conyers were protected.

Child molestation is a whole different, and worse, accusation. Child molesters can't be rehabilitated; they're fundamentally deranged and sick. If he did it then, then there should be more stories from 5, 10, 20 years ago, too. Where are they?

I don't know much of anything about this guy. I presume Alabama voters are struggling with this, but they'd rather hold the spot and replace him later than accept a politically perverted candidate instead.

They need to just start their own party. They can call themselves "The Covfefes" or "TRUMP", and they can build big shrines to their hero and his trolling sidekicks like Bannon. And leave the Republican Party to those of us who support it faithfully and refuse to associate with a piece of excrement like Donald J. Trump.

The wheels of government and politics turn much, much slower than we'd like, but one can observe when they are turning, and they are absolutely turning when it comes to Franken and Conyers. Anyone who can't see that their political careers are toast is kidding themselves. Conversely, there is no mechanism that can currently be observed to be punishing Trump and Moore. Moore's ratings are up and Republicans have steadfastly resolved to ignore trump's Access Hollywood tape and the 13 girls that accused him of assault, harassment and rape.
