House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is calling for an ethics investigation into her Democratic colleague, Rep. John Conyers Jr. (Mich.), amid allegations of sexual misconduct with female staffers.

"As I have said before, any credible allegation of sexual harassment must be investigated by the Ethics Committee," Pelosi said in a statement Tuesday.

She stressed that all lawmakers must make Congress a place of "zero tolerance for harassment."

“As Members of Congress, we each have a responsibility to uphold the integrity of the House of Representatives and to ensure a climate of dignity and respect, with zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, bullying or abuse," the California lawmaker continued.

Make it public
Have the staffer's testify.
Televise the hearings.
Make the agreement public. It was made with Public funds.

good for her.

Yes, no waiting around. Now the elephant in the room is how the Ethics investigation is done. Why have millions of public monies been spent. That should be addressed where any settlement(s) are made public.
Take away any place for these creeps to hide.

ALL creeps, no matter what side of the aisle. Too bad most people don't feel this way.

Said as if she does not know that bullying is the favorite and most used tool in town....
That can be applied to almost anyone in the legislative branch.

Exactly!

Then in 2018ff elections, contrast it directly with the GOP electing their accused without even considering they may be molesters.

Take the high road, and let the voters decide which method they prefer.

Those suburban Moms who voted in VA, they are nationwide, and they vote. I do believe the House could be in play in Nov 2018. If the Dems take the House, Trumps party will be well and truly over.

Heard several congressmen say they had no idea such a slush fund, as they called it, existed. I say start there.

All parties and elected officials need to start taking the high road. It is time to hold these puppets accountable and take back our government.

Only if it is proven in a court a law not by our corrupt media. I m tired of the witch hunts. I think when information is leaked for political gain that is rigging an election. Comey needs to be hung out to dry.

I would like to see our corrupt media held accountable also. I am sick of them running front page articles without evidence or proof. I think they should be required by law to run as many front page retractions as they do accusations. The sad fact is they know their opinions are held as gospel by most of this country. That needs to be addressed as well. Just because they can manipulate the public does not mean it should be allowed or is right.

I would only believe that from someone who has just been elected for their first term. The career politicians are either lying or are too naïve to hold office. Either way they should be held accountable.

Sad but true, and we see that daily in the partisan supporters, and from what I see a good number Republicans and Conservatives, should take a lot of courses on morals and harassment.

And Trump comes out and back this Moore prick. In one way I do hope he gets elected. Then the Republican Party owns him. And they will be lost as to what to do.
They will own him in the 18 elections and they will be Trumped by the Democrats. Trump just increased women voters in many States, and they will not be voting Republican

Lets hope is all encompassing, and includes all three branches of goverment.

As it should. From what I understand he paid for the settlement out of funds for his office.
He allegedly had women flown in, put up in hotels, and needless to say, those payments did not come from his own funds.

With those that deny knowledge. I call BS on that they were not aware. Small town and dirt travels.

Smart move.

It is at that.
She does have leadership problems. This is only getting bigger, and if she is found to have been aware of these payments, she will say hello to retirement. Heath issues do suddenly arise.

I missed what ever your point is, though if it was to tell me that I am yet again correct I thank you.
