2nd woman accuses Sen. Al Franken of inappropriate touching

Well, well, well...

Don't you think that ALL these ***** grabbing, baby-raping, touchy-feely-kissy, self-righteous dumb-****s should be thrown out of Washington?

Or, just the ones with a "D" by their name?

Come on Zimmer. Tell us what you think.

Can't have your cake and eat it too. What say ye?

Well, well, well...

You know what I find strange about this story? It isn't that I find the behavior hard to believe but that a woman getting her picture taken with Franken by her HUSBAND while Franken squeezes her butt cheek and didn't say anything to her husband while it was happening. The picture should not have been of her posing with Franken but rather her slapping Franken in the face.

If she didn't do something her husband damned sure should have. There should have been at least enough ruckus that anyone in their vicinity should have known something happened.

For the record, I got my picture taken with Ted Cruz and he did not grab my butt.

That’s only cause he didn’t find you attractive.

I guess you're just not Cruz's type. ;)

You would think the reaction to such a thing would have been much different.

circle the wagons circle the wagons.

this one i am a bit more spurious about this one than last one. if i had seen some guy grab my wife's ass he would be on the floor
looking up. self defense laws would have stopped any charges.

maybe the husband was talking to others that was there and not paying attention.

why she didn't say something then is beyond me.
even so if what she said is true he should step down yet he isn't.

evidently his standards for himself are different than other people.

According to the link, she did tell her husband. But I’d say this, the thrill to AF would have been that her husband WAS right there. I don’t fault her husband or her for not responding. And, if true, don’t blame her for stepping up now.

Each one of these revelations sends a powerful message to powerful men. Stop that ****!” Every woman out there knows it goes on. And, frankly, even if some of these allegations are NOT true? They still serve a purpose. Men have been put on notice.

I don't really get why some people think they can just put their hands on whoever they want, whenever they want. It's gross behavior.

Heard he likes women?

It is. And it happens allll the time. If men did that to other men in The same way? There would be blood in the streets.

And, please, dear posters, spare me the locker room analogy. That is NOT the same thing at all. And you know it.

Well, well, well...

Please, politicians like Franken take thousands of pictures with constituents every year. This was at the state fair, with thousands of people around including her husband who was taking the picture. I struggle to believe this was anything more than inadvertant.

But you believe every single accusation against trump, I bet.

Yeah, definitely not anything close to the locker room scenario.

Did you grab his?

Depends on how you were raised, I guess. I was discussing this with my grandmother the other day (she's pushing 90), and you have to understand, my grandmother is *literally* an angel, a saint, the epitome of the perfect grandmother in pretty much every single way, and a rather intelligent debater of politics as well. But, on this issue, I was blown away. She said:

"My mother taught me the wisest words: It's a man's job to try, and a woman's job to deny". I mean, I had no words. She then went on to describe what to me sounded like a lifetime of near constant sexual harassment in a number of the places she worked, made acceptable by the fact that *she* never consented and therefore, in her thinking, she was never a victim, despite telling me how uncomfortable she was made to feel, and how exhausting it was. In her mind, the victims of these men "got carried away, too impressed with powerful men, and found themselves in over their heads"...the blame was entirely on the women.

So, if that's how women of a certain age feel, and how they brought up their daughters, it's not hard to understand why these attitudes still linger today. Perhaps the next generation will be far enough removed from that kind of thinking...here's hoping.

And as more make allegations, I think he will resign.
Aside from the disgusting behaviors from ass grabbing to child molestation, there is another side to add to this disgust.
Not directed at you, but those moral cowards, -those that condemn based upon Party lines.
Clear we have a fair number of those lacking character and morals.

Me too. I'm not saying it didn't happen. I know if it had happened to my wife or daughter they would have protested loud and mighty immediately and I would have responded aggressively.

I don't know, but it seems to me that most women wouldn't stand there and take it, especially when their husband and father were standing there. Then again, most politicians are sleazy lizards and some people, I suppose, are in awe of them nonetheless.

Fraken needs to resign, and Moore needs to drop out, NOW!!

Its not just locker rooms. There is kind of a double standard that goes unaddressed whenever these discussions come up.

Not saying any of it is right or excusable or justifiable. Just sayin...

Men act a certain way. Always have. Women do too...especially when they are around other women. I was a bodyguard in Vegas for 6 years and have worked for some of the most high profile strippers flying in to work the Palomino Club and also the Chippendale Dancers. Let me tell you...four hundred women in a mostly female environment...everyone was getting grabbed.

At the same time, there is the account of Terry Crews who said he was groped openly, right in front of his wife...and he just took it. It was hard even for him to come forward and say anything at all about it. And he was already a celebrity.
