Hello all,

I found the referenced article quite surprising. This sort of sentiment is certainly not in keeping with the post-WWII Britain we all know and love. So I have an honest question. Does anyone know if some sort of demographic change has occurred in Europe that would account for this resurgence of hatred and anti-Semitism? Has some group arrived with a backward, medieval, hateful character that is unable to integrate into Europe? Any suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

There has been no demographic change, antisemitism is the same in the world as it has always been, and jews have been the most hated and prosecuted religion historically, yet for the life of me I still can not figure out why they are so hated.

What you are seeing here is the results of ww2 wearing off, after the holocaust people did not stop being anti semites, but a very large number stopped being open about it, out of either some sympathy or in fear of being an outcast. As the rememberance of the holocaust fades every decade, people are just becoming more open about how they feel.
