If this was a one off from Frankens juvenile sense of humor, and the two parties have settled with words, then ok. But if there are ANY more allegations, then the Dems need to open an investigation.

10 , or even 5 years ago, stuff like this would not have come out. It would have been swept under the rug. Women are much more willing to discuss it, and tell their stories. As such, the exposure is showing that you can't get away with this anymore. .. or at least it will be harder to get away with it. While the 'attacking the victim' is still prevalent, the 'we support you' is now there too. It won't happen over night.. but between the publicity and the support, the attitudes are starting to change, and will continue to change.

There is nothing wrong with opening up an investigation, even with one accusation. With all this coming to light, one thing for sure. Life in Congress and in Hollywood will be different going forward.

Wish more on the right would admit as much about Moore. But they can't. They are consumed with "whataboutitis." Instead of saying, "Yeah, man, that's ****ed up what Moore did. He should be run out of town on a rail," we get, "But the CLINTONS!"

Franken himself said their needs to be an investigation on himself along with other dems. I'm wondering why the bar for level of ethics for republicans can't be found anywhere?

Oh I'm not calling them liars. But I can see why people find it suspiscious.

And its a true slippery slope. Pretty easy to just say something happened. Pretty easy to go so far that one can destroy peoples lives by simply making claims.

I knew a guy who did six years in prison for molesting a girl who got into recovery and recanted while doing the Steps.

She made the whole thing up.

And he did six years as a child molester. NOT easy time.

Yes.. there will be pockets of resistance. I bet the blind obedience to the Party is more on the older folks. I mean.. even a FOX news poll has Jones leading Moore by 8 points https://www.politico.com/story/2017/11/16/roy-moore-doug-jones-alabama-poll-245558

Now, that won't mean much till the votes are cast, but if that can cause a DEMOCRAT to be elected in Alabama, well, things have changed.

What bar? The bar rolled off the stands, down the street and into the gutter when the right elected a sexual predator last year.

I would say investigating, and seeing if there are other stories about incidences that could be confirmed. If nothign else, it would scare the jr senators to keep their hands to themselves.

I saw that today. :lol: Couldn't believe it. And if Fox News has him ahead 8 points, he's probably ahead by closer to 20.

Im all about giving second chances, but if there is a pattern, then the situation changes, along with the CHARGES. Fraken has been read the riot act I am sure.
