Senator Al Franken Kissed and Groped Me Without My Consent, And There’s Nothing Funny About It

Maybe the following belongs in a thread of its own, don’t know.

A question came to mind: Is there a correlation between male sexual misconduct and their respective political philosophy and/or affiliations?

If you had to pick a member in the house or senate that was most likely to have molested women, wouldn't this be it?

Anyone notice that all of the women making accusations at Republicans are represented by Gloria Allred and all the women making accusations at Democrats are not?

So what's your point? An individual has partisan bias?

There doesn't seem to be.

It isn't just that she has partisan bias. How many times has she brought forth victims during an election and never brought charges? There were Bob Packwood, Herman Cain, and Donald Trump (seems like I'm missing one?) on top of accusations against radio and TV personalities Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. All of which resulted in no charges ever being filed. She was even rumored to have paid the Trump accuser, though no evidence of that exists. All I'm saying is when it happens once or twice, it is a coincidence. But there are at least five instances now and that can't be a coincidence.

He's always struck me as creepy to be frank.

At least he made a decent apology.

That's debatable. It didn't strike me as particularly genuine, but I'm usually pretty skeptical of people's apologies in any matter related to sex. It seems to me that the type of person to pull **** like this & legitimately feel sorry for doing so, wouldn't have done it in the first place.

He said all the right stuff and didn't try to dodge responsibility. Whether it is sincere or not is something else that none of us can judge.

I still think he's a creep.

Well, he did work for SNL at one point, and good humor is pretty much non-existent over there for the most part.

What? They are hilarious.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. The important thing to remember here is that time when Mary was wearing that flack jacket and God got a hard on.

Well, if she has a personal bias that is her right. I have a personal bias and so do you.

I wonder if any of those who accused lefty pols asked her to represent them. Could be they didn't ask because they have a bias against her.

It isn't about personal bias. She is using her stature as a lawyer to make (what might be) false allegations during elections. It is a form of election fraud, in my opinion. This needs to stop. Just regarding the Moore allegations, how can the election be fair? The allegations, true or not, will change the outcome. There is no way around that. If I was in Alabama, I'd have a hard time voting for him. Not because I know the allegations are true, but because I don't want to cast a vote for someone that might be guilty of statutory rape. I'm sure there are thousands in Alabama that are just like me. If the allegations are true, he will likely see real punishment. But if they are not, then what? If history is any indicator, nothing will happen. So why not make these false allegations? My whole point is that we have to start enforcing laws that already exist to prevent false allegations. We also need to over turn elections if such allegations are made during an election.

Franken releases new statement, calls for ethics investigation of himself

Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) is calling for an ethics investigation into his own behavior after a woman accused him of kissing and groping her without consent.

Franken in an expanded statement on Thursday apologized for the incident, in which he groped television host and sports broadcaster Leeann Tweeden while she was asleep on a military plane during a 2006 USO tour.

“I understand why we need to listen to and believe women’s experiences,” he said. “I am asking that an ethics investigation be undertaken, and I will gladly cooperate.”

Franken has apologized for any mis understanding...He is in the Senate...women was over 18...Case closed

So if I did what Al Franken to a woman, as long she's over 18, as long as I'm a Leftist politician, and as long as I give a half a**ed apology, it's acceptable? Man, I better get going on this on my bid for the Senate then. I can meet my wife that way. Thank you so much for telling me about this! I'm glad you cleared that mess up. Oh boy, I was really starting to feel hopeless in finding a woman, but, wow, you've helped me reenergize my mojo. Couldn't have asked for a better, more effective solution.
